I rarely comment on videos of any kind, but I felt the need to say that this is the most talented group of artists I have ever seen come together. And while they all have incredible voices, Mitch has the voice of an angel.

This is the song that turned me into an instant Pentaholic in 2021 after having not heard them since 2014. Instant Mitch-aholic as well. Upgrade for me. If you want to hear Mitch’s lower register, you need to listen to Amazing Grace and their audio-only Take On Me!

The prayer is one of those once in a generation type masterpieces. Honestly, it’s nearly impossible to improve a masterpiece, but your instincts are spot on in this instance. This one is better than the original. The original is beautiful, but this one is transcendent.

Great reaction. This is how I picture the Angels singing at the gates of Heaven This is stunning Most of them have huge octave ranges ( 5 and over) Takes a minute to remember there is no piano nor other instruments in this song They do their own backup singing and beat and the musical song part I watched something once where they said they discuss who will breathe when. imagine if they all took a big breath at once and the music stopped

I was trying to figure out what you were talking about at 2:30. Mitch, who? There's no Mitch singing....WHAT?! My son and I sang this song together, for Mother's day, and it took me some work, even as a soprano to do that first verse with controlled power; MITCH? Bravo. It's a fantastic cover.

I’m with ya. In fact, it’s my opinion that whenever PTX gets ahold of someone else’s tune, I like their version better than the original.

I loved the reaction. React now to Pentatonix "The Recording of Evergreen" which is a documentary they show how they created one of their albums called "Evergreen" and that they had to do it in 2 weeks. They show how they work, their practices before recording the songs, the beats Kevin makes in many of his videos and much more. You're going to love it.

MITCH CAN ALSO BELT IT OUT IN A LOWER TONE. HE SOUNDS ABSOLUTELY GREAT IN AMAZING GRACE . AND AT THE END OF HIS SOLO IN AMAZING GRACE HIS KEY CHANGES IS ASTOUNDING. DON'T KNOW IF YOU YOU DID THAT 1 AND I MISSED OUT. SOUTH AFRICA

For me, this version is better. You always need to give original artists their due, but sometimes someone else does it better. Pentatonix does that a lot. Recommend their new version of O Holy Night. They upgraded their upgrade.

Almost every song PTX does is better than the original. My favorite is still hallelujah but I think the prayer is the most beautiful sounding song they’ve done so far.

It's almost safe to say that some songs are better than the original the only Safeway to say something like that is Pentatonix does not do covers they do upgrades

Unfortunately I feel that you have said nothing of consequence. First you don't know if it's a cover. Then you say it is a cover. After hearing this awesome performance, all you can say is that you're not sure if you think it's better than the cover and you repeat over and over again that we should say how we feel in the comments. Why did you find it so difficult to express that you feel that their version is better? No disservice or disrespect to Celine and Andrea, but I agree with you. Their version is better in my opinion.
