David Rittich: How did that happen? (while frozen up)

I watched it live and couldn't stop laughing! lol

I saw that live and was absolutely perplexed as to how that went in.

It was so good that the goalie sat there for a good 5 seconds after so we could all see just how small the gap was.

We need to get a video of all his primary assists from this year :D

Yeah it's impressive for sure, Kinda weird for how amazing the Oilers are, that they can't seem to score on the empty net this year. Weird cause we were kinda empty net merchants last year.

Most of these goals were empty net tap-ins or one-timers from McDavid where the goalie is covering only half of the net.

Because there is unfortunately only one sport that Germans care about and that's football (soccer). Hockey is growing as a sport here, but most people still don't even know who Draisaitl is. It's quite sad honestly, because our hockey team has done such a phenomenal job at representing our country at the international level with silver medals at the 2018 olympics and the last WC. While our football team has literally been major trash since winning the 2014 world cup.

Only reason he gets that many points is because of McDavid. Put him on any other team and he maybe scratchs 100 points.

Leon’s been running his own line all season and has been absolutely dominant, who cares if mcdavid helps him out on the power play he’s the one finishing all the goals off. It’s like you saying Ovi wouldn’t have as many points if he didn’t have backstrom passing to him. These kinds of players can finish and drive their own lines regardless of whose on their team and who’s passing them the puck that’s why they’re superstars in this league.

@@tequila6306 I mean, at this point Emmanuels comment is just pure stupidity. You can even see, in these highlights that 95% of the passes Drai gets from McDavid are nothing special and could be made by a bunch of players. You could argue that McDavid feeds more of Draisaitl, when you look at the kind of plays Drai makes. McJesus is magic, but most of his magic his him being able to convert from anyplace, at anytime, against anyone, but does so mostly for his own.

@@emmanuelowino9626 I would have to disagree, like the other commenters. Having McDavid certainly makes things easier haha, but Drai is a lethal shooter. Plus he's got moves too. He doesn't just park himself at the right circle all the time

@@gcs8889 Little did you know that Draisaitl was also playing through injury, because in the last week he's turned everything up a notch. If he played the whole season like he has the last 15 games, he likely would be only a few points behind McDavid.
