@@synoh04in the manga it plays out almost like a joke, the scene is quick and it is not heavily developed in the moment. But the light novel touches on his personal internal dialog a bit more than what is presented here. It is not a huge difference between the two as they both play out pretty much the same, but he talks about how he is feeling about it. This give the moment a more so depressing vibe and leaves the reader a little sad for leon. I was sad for him at the time as well. By the way if you have the time definitely give it a read. The light novel is genuinely fantastic and gets a lot better later on in the series.

I don't know if it was in the manga (I only read the LN) but in LN, Leon and Marie try doing the love test and both was over 80(marie is higher than leon btw) The fact that they tried to pass it off as "broken" is kind of cute not gonna lie.

@@synoh04 Well, I don´t want to go into details but they ditch his ass often, met each other without him and when somthing does not go like he planed, they never support him and just tell him to deal with it. The manga is even worse than the anime, trust me.
