He was saved from his suicide by Piers. Leon fought that version of Chris, got the drop on him, and still ended up landing zero hits, taking two knees, and then being thrown like a ragdoll. He'd have had no chance against the Chris that beat Wesker.

i know a few points that simmons would get 1 would be strength, in his first mutation he was easily able to derail a moving train going straight to wards him speed, in his t rex form he was able to move as fast as a vehicle durability would also play, as he had 3 mutations and 4 boss fights, wesker only had 3 in re5, it could play out evenly battle iq could go to simmons, as he was a national security advisor, wesker was only a scientist attack potency finally, he was able to derail a moving train without showing any signs of fatigue.

If you actually read the docs and understand the directions of the puzzles, the puzzles on re1 aren't that hard. Leon in re2, 4 (og and remake) he can dissolve puzzle with no help too. And thats canon. He can dissolve puzzle while he fought zombies, ganados, regenertor, etc. In tv series infinite darkness Leon can think quickly to survive the zombies rat and can realize that the attack on the submarine was caused by his own partner. in re 2, the monsters that leon faces are more dangerous (in terms of aggressiveness, regeneration, mutation, physical strength, durability, etc) than in re1. You must know how terrible willian birkin's mutation and regeneration is, mr.x's physical strength and endurance is quite strong. it should be noted leon is still a rookie in re2 when compared to jill. even so, he can still face these monsters, from there it has been proven that Leon has talent beyond the characters in re1. For example in re5 Wesker could have easily got rid of Chris any moment but they made him pull of his punches and not taking anything too seriously, Wesker can literally destroy metal and avoid bullets like it was nothing.

Bro, se refiere sin la plot armor, es decir, sin esa armadura que el juego te da en el gameplay para que no te mueras tan facil, ya que sin eso no tendriamos Resident evil 8, ademas krauser es su mentor teniendo gran habilidad y poder y mas con sus garras, y jake es hijo del albert wesker que ya de por si sin el poder del guio los vence a todos sin problemas, Jake tiene la misma fuerza que wesker, velocidad un poco mas rapida k leon, y obviamente al ser hijo de wesker tiene un poder parecido pero mas bajo, tiene mucha resistencia detras del plot armor, en pocas palabras, es un albert wesker un poco mas debil pero igual de poderoso
