Other people do/have done "saving a lobster from the grocery store" idea but for me Brady's channel has something safe and calm about it. Viewers know he is in it for Leon for the long-haul and it isn't just for views. The viewers know he is knowledgeable. He is like a cross between "Nice Dad" and "favourite teacher" energy. The Leon success is easy: there was never someone sharing the story about having a lobster as a pet. Not only it was unique and creative, but it also shows life will surprise you in one way or another: viewers, as how a lobster can thrive outside the oceans when someone cares deeply about it, and for Brady, as how many curious and fair human beings are out there.

I think it’s the sort of thing that catches the imagination too. How many people have wondered what would happen if you had the skill and time to take a lobster home and give it a name? Brady had the skill, the time and the ability to capture the story on film with charm and emotion.

I never knew Brady before Leon. One day the first Leon video just showed up on my youtube frontpage and i was like huh? Saving a lobster? Gotta see what that is about. And then there was just something about it all, like cutting the rubber bands that held the claws, Leon getting used to his new home, watching Leon grow and Leon dealing with the other animals in his aquarium. And then with those videos came all the other interesting stuff like abandoned houses and rescue cats and trips out to waterfalls which is also very interesting. And the soothing voice and the music just helps it all along nicely. Sometimes a video just has a combination of things that makes the video stand out and be an interesting watch and so it goes viral. And i am glad it did. Following Leon and Brady is fantastic.

In 1968 mom bought a live lobster and put it in the bathtub. I thought he was going to be our new pet! At dinnertime she took the lobster to the kitchen, where a pot of water was boiling. She lifted the lid and DROPPED OUR NEW PET IN IT. I screamed and ran upstairs, crying. I haven't been able to "unsee" that image to this day. The only satisfaction is I spoiled my mother's dinner. This is what draws Leon to the children in us who pitied lobsters in supermarket tanks.

So many folks really feel sorry for the supermarket lobsters stuffed in a small tank, when they were in the Ocean mere weeks before. 3. What you have is not doom n gloom, but an everyday feel ok venture. 4. Your narration is clear, concise, and matter of fact truth. No embellishments, spangles, or marketing hooks we are bombarded with daily. This is why it is so successful, don't fix what ain't broke, keep up the good work.

Listening to Brady talk is very relaxing, it feels like I’m going into the woods with him, hanging around the fire and watching Leon and the cats. The thing is with Leon, I guess it went viral because many of us can relate to the sadness we felt so many times when in a grocery store we passed next to a tank full of lobsters, trapped from their life and freedom waiting for their death, and there was Brady one day deciding to saved one and see how it goes. We relate because Leon story is one of wisdom, we humans are not that bad and insensitive. So forget the narrowness of some preachers, those ones just don’t get it. I am a fan of Brady’s films, his inspiring voice, his skills how to tell what’s happening, I am always excited when a new one is on, and it’s generous of him to share with us, to take the time for this.

Great to see what you look like Brady! The videos are so beautiful and calming, and Brady has a soothing voice.

I remember seeing the first Leon video and it just stood out for being so genuine. It created compassion for a lobster seen through Brady's eyes and thus love and passion for nature, critters and natural beauty. The beautiful footage of Leon, the music and the interesting narrative of Brady trying to make a healthy, comfortable home for Leon and his thought process to establish that. In the bigger picture it is a narrative of contemplating live and our relationship with other live forms around us. Especially after his first mold I'm in awe with Leon's beauty, colors, functional design and intelligence, but maybe equally admire Brady for noticing, caring and documenting it so beautifully.

Brady is a really decent man! His channel for some reason ( I say that because it is not anything like my normal subject matter) Came across my feed. I am so grateful that it did! I have been hooked! I love his channel and I love that he cares about animals and takes care of them! God Bless him.
