I think Leona Lewis is too underrated, she is a tremendous singer, tremendous vocalist and how they have not been able to recognize her talent, it is not easy to interpret this song

I mean this is her biggest hit/song by a MILE and she didnt even write it pr really have anything to do with it... was written by jesse mccartney and ryan Tedder for one of Jesses albums but when he took the song to the label he was with at the time they hated it so he shelved it, months layer leonna would go on to win the xfactor and jesse would pitch the song to simon for her and simon wanted it instantly and jesse gave them the song and the rest is history

She didnt even come up with this "banger" wasnt even written by her or for her. Was wrotten by jesse mccartney and ryan tedder for one of jesses albums but when he took it to the label he was with at the time the label hated it so he shelved it. Months later leonna would win the xfactor in Britain and jesse would pitch the song to simon for her and simon wanted it immediately and jesse gave it to her to sing and the rest (as they say) is history

I still remember waiting to watch this performance on the brits and Leona did not disappoint, she didn’t win but vocally she should have… by a mile lol it was just wrong timing, her album came out way before the brits
