Bellissimo! Lo avevo in VHS. Me lo aveva prestato un mio carissimo amico direttore (ora, purtroppo scomparso) Domenico Cieri, e mi aveva affascinato per la tenerezza espressa da tutti e per la incomparabile bravura di Bernstein!

Amazing how versatile LB was - he can be conducting a pickup orchestra like this for one minute and then jetsetting overseas to conduct an opera in LaScala or Mahler in Vienna....

@amjhutton actually the name of it is not Tonight, The 2nd song in this specific video is called " Balcony Scene " ... " Tonight " is later on in the actual show ( earlier in this recording session )

Carreras is not terrible...it's just that he is not suited for playing tony, the jet from the streets. he has an operatic voice and is not in my opinion meant for this.
