"I could not slip away without telling you that I died in Greece was buried in that place where the donkey is tethered to the olive tree I will always be there". - Leonard Cohen

I think that Perla and Julie were the most devoted to Leonard. They truly wanted to please him and make great music. They were simply the best singers he ever had, and he had some good ones.

Brings back wonderful memories of my stay on this idyllic island in the early 1980s. Saw Leonard's house but he had returned to Canada a few weeks earlier. It was like a return to a primordial past---- so liberating not to have to be dodging cars or any other motor vehicles vehicals ----- just the odd donkey!

LC forever, I'm your fan

I loved listening to his songs. I like the way he explored life. I like that he discovered Greece and the beautiful island of Hydra. I visited Hydra last time in June 2019. And I saw the bank dedicated to his memory from his funs. Did you know that he was practicing Zen? Quite an interesting fellow. Rest in peace, Leonard!
