The unrealistic part of this TV show is that Leonard is lactose intolerant and yet he stays away from dairy unlike other lactose intolerant people like myself who just throw caution of the wind to eat it and then suffer later

It’s only unrealistic in the sense that Leonard would still eat dairy if all it did was make him fart but a lot of people get really ill from dairy if they’re lactose intolerant.

It's also odd how the show continued to act like things like Lactaid simply don't exist. That's why I wonder if there were no writing staff that were *actually* lactose intolerant and maybe didn't personally know anyone that is. Cuz everyone *I* know that is, either just deals with the consequences, or takes something to help deal with it.

leonard is the least believable lactose intolerant... they love cheese and would gladly deal with the consequenses of eating as much cheese as possible, i had a friend also lactose intolerant, once he said his biggest dream is to die from cheese, his funeral was beautiful

Sheldon is funny and all.. But that last bit when he spoiled a major plot point of the book and did not show any remorse on top of which he said leonard was being a histerical woman for being upset about it.. This is one of the times I feel like punching him in the face.

It was the first season, the writers hadn’t fully settled in and defined all of Sheldon’s quirks. He also had a slightly different voice, used a few swear words, and was less fussy in general, from what I remember.

We are here,before Christopher Bingham. All the guys have hissy fits, Pointing out Leonard’s lactose intolerant,comments was funny, especially when Sheldon mentioned several times, Why hide it Leonard Raj is a hypocrite,who tries to control who can see his sister, aka Leonard, and tried to forbid it, but has no problems going after Sheldon’s sister. Howard is right,Leonard can’t have penny and Missy . Pick one Leonard .
