+zlameli Thank you! I was a bit nervous going into the interview because it was my first time interviewing him, but he was so nice! He asked me if he could use the bathroom right before the interview and then he asked if he could send one more text before we started. I thought that was so polite of him even though he didn't have to ask me at all :-)

+Kristien Morato It wasn't noticable. Your nerves, I mean. You did extremely cool, especially when you ended the small talk and got down to business. I thought that was spot on professional, cause I would've gone on and on bout all of my road trips ever... 😉😊 And as it seems Leo agrees with all of us in the comment section.

+zlameli I would LOVE to visit Croatia one day! The one thing I miss about living in Belgium is that it was so easy to fly to all the beautiful countries in Europe :-) Now it would take a whole day to fly from LA to Croatia, but it would be so worth it!

I interviewed him twice that day, so we talked a little bit in between interviews. I showed him my newspaper that I work for and he asked me about what was on the front page. (He couldn't read it because it was in Dutch) Other than that we didn't really talk about anything, but he was really nice! The first interview was 45 minutes and he was SO nice, he's one of my favorite people to talk to!

Are you going to upload that interview too??:) I would love to meet him!! I have pretty much loved him ever since I watched Titanic when I was 5 years old:)

It's funny because as a kid I had posters of him in my bedroom, so it was a bit surreal to interview him :-D Fell in love with him after watching Titanic when I was 9 years old. I won't be able to upload the other one because it was a print interview... It will get published in my newspaper next week :-)

Honestly, I would think it would be so hard to interview him if you are a female, cause almost every woman is in love with him! lol:) You obviously have to act very professional still and not flirty. which I have seen female interviewers be flirty with him! haha:)

+TitanicLover93 So sorry it took me so long to respond, been so busy with work lately! :-) I went to college in Belgium where I got my bachelor degree in Journalism. I moved to the US two weeks after graduating. It was pretty scary at first because I had no idea if I would ever be able to find a job as a reporter, but 2 days after I got my work permit I had my very first job interview. I sent an email to a Belgian news website / newspaper and basically applied for a job that wasn't even there. But they wanted to talk to me anyway (even though they weren't hiring at the time) The interview went well and I was able to start working right away. I had one week of training and then I was pretty much on my own, trying to figure out how to set up interviews etc. It was a very exciting time and I have learned so much just by doing it on my own. I have been with the same company ever since and they are so good to me. I only do entertainment reporting, so basically my job is interviewing actors, write interviews in Dutch and edit tv interviews. It's a really fun job! Let me know if you have any more questions.

Kristien Morato oh wow!! that sounds amazing!! The funny thing is, English was always my best subject in school, but was never interested in pursuing any kind of career in that field. Since after watching what you do, it really has got me interested! Your job sounds really easy, but probably is not as simple as it sounds. lol:)

English was something I always loved in school, and I could see myself doing what you do, which is journalism right?:) I just am not quite sure how to get started. I also love film. like the art of film and music, and discussing films. This just sounds like a very fun and interesting career:)
