HGTV had established her in their visitor center recently since Mary Violet came from Laurel, MS. Her real name is Mary Violet. Beautiful to hear that she gave recognition of her voice to God. Watch season 8 - episode 13 - Home Town, and how remarkable it is to see how many people love her.

As a singer, it's true. We are the instrument, it is a part of us. And we have to protect it just like any other instrument is protected. Some people don't understand this.

The dynamics of this interview are quite interesting in that she is a powerful speaker/personality and could easily overtake the interview, IF he weren't equally powerful and in control of the reins of interview. It's like riding a stagecoach: you MUST control the very powerful horses. This is a quite entrancing interview. Good job on both ends.
