Years ago i saw a 2A4 in a military expo. I thought i'd sound like a construction machine, instead my ears were graced by probably the smoothest engine sound vehicle that size can produce. German Engineering are no joke indeed.

@@barna385 Das fragst du besser die Russischen T-72 Besatzungen die in der Ukraine eine Javelin auf sich zufliegen sehen aber nicht schnell genug rückwärts aus der Stellung kommen. Warte. Die kann man nicht fragen weil sie in Mikrosekunden vaporisiert wurden als ihr Turm in die Stratosphäre abgehauen ist.

The funny thing is that ex-Soviet states managed to upgrade their hardware to be able to reverse just as fast while Russians stagnated with their tank development programs, resorting to putting French fire control systems with extra ERA plates on chassises they haven’t produced for 20 years+

Since I have several other projects in front of it. But it's going to be pretty interesting, since I've never built such a fine detailed model before v

sound mods are a great solution for that problem, i recommend the RCSM mod in the official mod forum. They sound so great especially the abrams turbine sound. Give them a try!

you can hear a tank 1km in a forest or more. THEY are NOT stealthy when it comes to sound. Abrams tank is silent if at low power .... all you hear is click click click from the tracks.

@@愛を込めてロシアから You wish. The stationary version MANTIS is in service for several years now as a C-RAM. That means it can't just track and shoot down a slow moving one meter long plastic toy but significantly faster and smaller mortar rounds. It can even intercept air launched ATGM.
