No because we stop for many different things, not just the kills. The scavengers would have to pick up on the smell

Fascinating... i just wish it were longer so i could watch him eat alot of the carcass. They seem to have a funny way of eating. I thought they would go straight for the soft internal organs as soon as they were exposed.

Because their teeth are adapted to cut small pieces that can be easily swallowed. They can't chew big chunks of meat as their back teeth are sharp like scissors instead of flat

A lot depends on how much of what they catch they actually get to eat. A big kill like this could take a few days to eat and that should give them enough nutrients to stay healthy for a couple of weeks afterwards. In this case hyenas took the carcass after I left so the leopard would need another prey within a couple of days

There are time limits on the sightings there, 20 minutes if other vehicles are waiting. We had 15 minutes of the leopard sitting panting in the riverbed like the beginning of the video. Unfortunately when he started eating it was basically time to leave.

Yet when it's not up close all the comments are asking why I didn't zoom in more. It's not possible to please all of the people all of the time. There's a vast variety of scenes on this channel so I can at least please some of the people some of the time

Besides the obvious things like bones, do predators ever dislike particular parts of a kill? I mean, do they ever leave something like the spleen or liver because it doesn't taste good to them?

The usually only leave what they physically cannot eat - larger bones, stomach content and sometimes hooves

actually different from what you thought, usually predators like organs the most. Liver, heart, spleen, lung, intestines and stomach, these are lions/leopards' favorites, they like organs much more than meat.
