Very informative, thank you! I mainly keep New Caledonian geckos, but have been so fascinated by all the amazing colors & phenotypes in Leos. I may end up getting one at some point and found this helpful.

Hello, great video, very helpful. I've been wondering how do you keep the mealworms alive, if you don't want them in large quantities. Because I've seen alot of people say that mealworms have to be alive for leopard geckos, but I'm not sure if this is true, and not sure how to keep mealworms alive if it is true

Great care video, very informative. I only hope that the breeding of Enigmas stops. It seems cruel to me to breed a gecko with a known neurological disorder for profit because they look "nicer". Ethics seems to be in short supply in the reptile industry :(

Hi Alexis, thank you for your comment and I am glad you found the video informative. I am not sure if we have a different line of Enigmas but we have been breeding them for many years now (before people were aware of this problem) and we haven't seen any signs of neurological disorders. We wouldn't breed anything that would genetically have problems. I do agree though people need to be careful of this and not support any lines that do show any signs of neurological disorders.

Is there a difference between a fancy leopard gecko and a leopard gecko I boutght mines at pet smart and it said fancy leopard gecko

It will still be a Leopard Gecko it will just be a certain colour or pattern morph that makes it 'fancy'. Thanks!

I just got my first gecko for my daughter. I have a question about the calcium. You say it's an important part of their diet. if they weren't in this cage how do they get calcium in the wild. I would assume they don't get calcium in the wild so why is it important to give when they are in a cage.

Hi Kristin. In the wild a Leopard Gecko will get its calcium from eating/licking the sand and soil in their natural habitat. As they come from arid regions their soil contains high levels of calcium. I hope this helps, thanks!

We put in 5 mealworms Monday, Wednesday and Friday and then feed a few dusted crickets twice a week😊👍🏻

Bred over 30 years? At your facility only I guess cause Ron Tremper is breeding them for over 40 years now and he brought them from guys in Europe who were working on breeding them for some time already so more like 50 not 30
