8:45 there was defs something funny that came through the monitors, and the guitar players are both in on it and started laughing when they heard it

I remember a time when crowds would’ve gone insane to a show like this. Everyone looks like they’d rather be anywhere else.

the dissonance between the "can't be assed" crowd and a band giving their absolute ALL on stage is heartbreaking. i saw Varials live when they were opening for All That Remains and they were one of the most energetic bands on stage, and folks were just noddin their heads like it was an H&M LMAO. sad !!

@@aciddrive I saw them live as well at the Paramount theater, when Tallah went on stage everyone including myself were going nuts despite me being in the front the whole show. The atmosphere shifted when varials came on though, I think it was because they weren't punching as hard as Tallah or Miss May I. IMO

@@smogman07 aw man you guys got off lucky having a crowd that actually knew who Tallah were, nobody in my crowd woke up til MMI showed up, a damn shame too bc im pretty sure by that point of the tour (iirc this was Tallah's last proper stop) Tallah & Varials were the only ones who werent phoning it in 😭😭
