Merci pour cette video. C'est tellement difficile d'avoir des vidéos de cette comedie en Français. Un comble quand on sait que c'est un spectacle Français á la base.

@@philmartel1705 A l'école, on chantait la chanson de Gavroche, je n'ai découvert son origine á 20 ans en cherchant des disques vinyl de générique d'anime.C'est á ce moment lá que j'ai su pour la comedie musical.

La PY TV Merci beaucoup de cette vidéo! J'ai toujours voulu voir LM on stage mais je n'ai pas encore pu. Pour quelqu'un qui aime la littérature, le théatre et la musique, ce show est entre les meilleurs depuis toujours. Such an amazing translation. The French is completely natural, yet perfectly retains the original meaning.

@@_skirdybirdy1788Yes and No, the original French version was different from this. The orchestration and some of the songs are different. The West End version was so successful that when the musical returned to France, they adapted the English version into French. This is the French readaptation of the West end adaptation of the original French one from 1980. The musical is still very much a French musical, but it had some changes outside of France along the way.

Is this really being sung live? They *sounded too similar to the recorded version and I didn't see any microphones either on stage or on the performers' body. But if they did sang this song live, they were doing a magnificent job.

I believe most theatrical performances utilize lip syncing, as this prevents microphone issues that may ruin the experience for the viewers.

The person who uploaded the video might have changed the audio to the recording... but the lip-syncing is a bit too good for that to be the case (also, why would they worsen the sound quality on purpose).

@@anniecarignan3607 … This is the 1991 original Pais cast. Although, Louise Pitre, who Played Fantine and Robert Marien who played Valjean did preform those roles in Canada.

Pourquoi avoir changé le livret d'origine ? Ce ne sont pas les paroles de la version originale . Le grand jour ???? A la volonté du peuple ! voilà les paroles du livret original.

@@n.k9517 Exact ! Mais ma remarque tient toujours. Dans le livret original, , c'était "Comment faire" et pas "le grand jour."
