Looks like they found their passion for battles again. Couple of years nothing and now they are in every bigger battle they can find. I love it, just means more great dancing to watch

I don't think it was ever a matter of passion. The reality is Lau has had too many injuries and they've had other obligations. 2015 they had a bunch of battles like KOD, Larry 7 to smoke, Larry RBH, and etc while Lau had to keep it easy due to a bad knee injury. You can see it at Fusion Concept 2015 performance when he pointed to his knee and there are a few videos out there of when they were on tour where Lau had to stop dancing then in 2017 we all saw the WOD injury where he wasn't able to do his death drop again until May 2018 because of further injuries. Didn't make it through Battle Bad preselections in 2018, but finally has been competing against throughout this year with Larry.

It is interesting to see that the twins, after having completly different styles for years, are now adapting from each other and getting more similar like in their early days. Lau is getting more speed and control from Larry while Larry seems to be getting more wild with bigger moves and more flow on funky beats. Great to see they always keep evolving. Also great to see the still very different styles on the same beats in the final.

Yup, I've noticed particularly since Battle Bad when Laurent couldn't make it through preselections for whatever reason and Larry lost to Dykens their mentality has changed a lot. Less caring for their individuality between the two of them and a higher willingness to repeat moves at the same events. Before Battle Bad 2018 I can't really think of a time they'd use their signatures multiple times in an events. Like Lau has been doing his death drops and spin signatures a ton for example. Feels like they noticed judges aren't penalizing people like when Dykens did the leg drop Larry does 3-4 times and won the round and decided they'll just go out there and do their thing. I've always said since 2013/2014 that if they just borrowed from each more they would evolve to become the easily best dancers and we saw that with Lau starting in 2015 and Larry starting in around 2017/2018.

@@AuRevoirTune It also seems they do a lot more semi-choreo's in their movements. After having watched 100s of youtube vids with battles like this, often a good dancer does some kind of move which really looks awesome, but it's almost always only once, then they're on to the next freestyle move and so on. I notice that the twins often repeat a certain stance or move a couple of times in a row, with slight variations on it. That looks really cool. 12:46 till 12:55 for example. Same repeated stance/move with little variations instead of just doing it once and then freestyling into something completely different.

Well I'd say most battle dancers do that. Every style has some sort of fundamentals that they repeat like krump's arm movements, popper's arm movements, hip hop dancers usually do the same bounce movement, and etc. A lot of the new style guys don't have any base style like that where they just repeat the same movement as a core part of how they dance. Like in what you showed that looks a lot like krump inspired movements where it's common for krumpers to repeat movements.

My goodness this Battle Bad both Larry and Lau had some BEAST like concepts and it just kept coming and coming, Lau in particular had my going wtf throughout the whole thing with his applications of some "new" movements as well as his classic moves to the beats, i haven't been this excited watching a Les Twins video in some months

Rubix still has to learn a ton in order for him to win against Larry, Rubix sometimes cares more abt the moves he does, that leads to him having dope rounds but with moves that dont match the music at all or him getting waaaaay to hyped up. And i'm not saying that thats always the case because for an example, WDC 2019 in Japan, he was always letting the music guide him instead. He looked way more composed and clean.

This is their comfort zone, a battle, to show their skills and to challenge. The Twins live for just exactly this. It's where they come from and honed their style, where they have developed their skills, it's a want, a need...they strive and live for competing. I love them and all they represent.

I love to see that they battle again and won a tournement. Exact 1 year ago they started battling again and I saw that they were not the Twins we knew because they were a bit out of the game.( still larry won for me the last year 😂) Then after judging unfair in battle bad last year, juste debout and in my opinion also fusin concept. They finally win, and not only win... they were dominating and I saw them like I started seeing them for the first time. Larry and Laurent were sooo hungry like in the old days AND KILLED EVERYTHING ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️💀💀💀

I swear, maybe it's because I couldn't scream (my brother's sleeping in the room next to mine), but this is the first time that fucking tears came out of my eyes. There were two rounds from both of them in which they unleashed the Beast in full form and that's the best and highest representation of hip hop dance to me.

Probably the best Dance Event in my opinion, the Best hip hop dancers les twins, rubix, dykens etc. combined with the best hip hop Music from the dj‘s out of all Events(sdf,Fusion Concept). Not Even one Bad beat/Song. Such a good Event. More like (this)Battle Good !

Funny how reading so many of the comments ppl say Lau had evolved and is NOW learning self control but thats not really true tho if u look back on he just look like he is all over the place but if u look at their stuff from 2011 Lau was the one with more control and that led most battles cause he had more experience he has more injuries cause he take more risk that lead to him having to change more but that makes him who he is and Larry is killing it he ALREADY was doing half of his brothers stuff in the beginning he said in his Instagram he was done pleasing everyone else and starting to do whay HE wanna do BOUT DAMN TIME cant wait for 2020 the TWINS are about to kill it

Amazing video as always, LOVE the content you put out there. Please please please tell me I'm not the only one who thinks about this, well, two things. 1: Laurent absolutely dominated the stage (I'm one of those viewers who ONLY watch Larry, watching Laurent just blew my mind) 2: The music used was the only thing bad (not surprised since the competition's name is "Battle Bad") throughout the entire thing
