The tiny kittens came from the mayor elf with the pregnant (tiny) cat in the last episode. The car got into her hair and she refused to give it back unless she could meet with the prime minister. When she gave the tiny cat back, it looked "deflated." The show didn't call a lot of attention to it at that point, but the tiny cat gave birth in her hair.

The lore in this series is as intriguing as it is subtle

Hilda's fearlessness is her greatest strength and weakness. One of the things I adore about this series. Also, for someone who researches and writes Scandinavian horror, it's my perfect escape - the whimsical approach to the mythology is pure joy.

Hilda is such a hidden gem

I was so shocked when the giant stepped on the house, but it's a such a clear image and comparison to the elves for the kids and everyone watching. I love the writing of this show and everything about it. It's like a snuggly blanket and hot cocoa wrapped up in the magic and wonder of a little kid, yet enjoyable for all!🥰

I just love how these 2 episodes work with each other. The themes of humans vs elves and giants vs humans overlap and paralel each other so much, that with additional mentions and sightings of trolls it becomes clear that this series is really abt different groups of people living together under different circumstances, which is actually a heavy and deep theme. Can't wait to see ur reaction to it developing.

Woodman is best character, who agrees

One of the interesting dynamics this show has, although not explicitly stated, one of the subtle ideas is the differences between wilderness fae creatures and urban fae creatures. Which I won't elaborate, but don't worry we go back and forth between the forests and city for Hilda's adventures.

Hilda is actually a british comic from Luke Pearson and it's so cute! I first read it like seven years ago and immediatelly fell in love with it. The first book was about the troll from episode one and the second one has the plot with the giant and elves. Idk if there are more now but ive read about six of these and they just get better and better. I totally recommend it, it's so well done!

[Intruder Alert begins to play. The Soldier reaches from off-screen and pulls a Shotgun off a rack of weapons. [The Scout frantically retrieves the photos as the Spy lights and smokes a cigarillo in the foreground] Scout: "Gimme that!" Spy: "This Spy has already breached our defenses..." [Fade to the RED Spy, creeping through the Hydro tunnels. He pauses at a corner, as the camera pulls back to reveal a BLU Level 3 Sentry Gun with its Engineer. He slides an Sapper across the floor, disarming and destroying the Sentry Gun immediately] Engineer: "Sentry Down!" [The BLU Engineer throws his Wrench down and frantically reaches for his Pistol, only to have the Spy shoot him in the head with the Revolver. The dead Engineer crashes through a door and the Spy steps over him and fires at a target off-screen] [Cut back to the BLU Intelligence Room. The BLU Spy leans over the dead Sniper, gesturing frantically.] Spy: "You've seen what he's done to our colleagues!" [Flashback to the BLU Sniper, now alive and sniping from a dusty attic. The RED Spy retrieves one of them and smiles wistfully] Spy: "Ahh... ma petite chou-fleur." [The RED Spy walks off with the BLU team's intel in tow

We begin with Faster Than a Speeding Bullet playing in the background, with a Garage door opening revealing RED Scout and his teammates about to ambush the BLU Team. Preparing for the battle, as the camera moves from right to left, Scout studies the scenario, on where their opponents are. He then reloads his Scattergun as his teammates charge in. He then joins the charge, dodging several bullets. After using his firearms, we then skip to a cut to where Scout rushes into a building on a railroad, with a BLU Soldier and Pyro tailing him. Just as he jumped to cross the said railroad, a Train quickly barges in and hits both BLU enemies. After which, it cuts to the familiar 'Meet the (Class here)' Intro, and then RED Scout respectively, shows up to assess the "interview". He describes how dangerous he is, as he opposes a Heavy for his Sandvich. At the end, he ends up killing the Heavy with his steel bat, winning the battle and eventually eating the Sandvich. It then cuts to the usual Team Fortress group photo, in which it zooms from the specific Mercenary's face.

I've long maintained that despite how reasonable and normal Johanna seems to be, she's still the woman who chose to raise her daughter alone in the middle of the Huldrawoods for years. That woman canNOT be normal!

I would pay attention to the troll in the opening credits. She crops up a lot in season one and two. It’s almost the series is laying the groundwork for something.
