Even though my initial motivation to watch this classic was to broaden my musical horizons with the works of the Gershwins, I didn’t know what else layed in store for why this movie has remained so beloved after all these years. And Leslie is a terrific dancer. If she was younger again, I would die to see her in a one woman show with these dance vignettes.
