I received the 1966 catalog when I joined the US Matchbox Collector's Club and am still a member as far as I'm concerned.

Wow! I was 4 in 1966,and used to get a matchbox car every week from our local market,they were priced at one shilling and eightpence,I remember my mum complaining when the price went up to two shillings - wish I'd kept them with their boxes,would've been worth a fortune now.

Does anyone know the name of a weird vintage toy I have? It look like a matchbox (same wheels, same size, playworn) It's a red 6 wheeler, it seems to be from the 60s, and it has a small cab for the driver to sit (A bit like a crane) Please help!!

they should have done a Foden low loader with the bulldozer on , the Ford D Series in Taylor Woodrow was nice , BUT , didn't quite look the part I don't think .
