I like your idea of using a sketchbook to get ideas when out. Some artists have said sketchbooks are a waste of time, they are wrong

Thank you! Another great tutorial! My husband and I painted this tonight and we didn't have a sponge so he suggested we use small broccoli crowns for the tree...Lol, they turned out pretty good! He said it was his favorite watercolor he's done so far.

@@KarenRiceArt Oh Karen, I am so sorry to hear that you were ill for such a prolonged time. I really hope you are fully over it now and back to your beautiful, bubbly self. Look after yourself. It is hard to feel great in such hot weather. I imagine you are getting the same in the UK as we are here in Ireland. I am not even able to paint because the water is drying up on the page as soon as I lay it down 😪

Love it! I never had good luck with salt no matter which type I try.. I guess my paper is either too wet or too dry!? Mine turned out pretty except for the salt part ;)
