Hi Jenny!!!! As you may know I'm brazilian too. The lessons are great. Please.....make a lesson teaching us about typical and common expressions in english, for example, expressions like: "By the way" "I thing so" "In nutshell" "Spread the beans" "There a bun in the oven" "I bring the bacon to home" "Better than nothing" "Never mind" "Girls like that" and so on.....common closed expressions in american speech...We need to learn these expressions to talk better, not only separate words, Did you get it? lol Make a new video about that ....I bet....thank youuuu

Thank you so much! I'll add a few more lessons in 2021, and then the series will be over. We had to end filming when the pandemic started. I'm glad we filmed a lot so that I could create these lessons!

Yes! There are certainly some more, and I know another step to take is to have these ladies ask ME questions as part of our chitchat. One step at a time. Thanks for the sunshine sticker!

@@Englishwithjennifer It all takes time to perfect. It's a very good idea to practice asking and replying to common questions. There are many. The girls are doing just fine, though. I look forward to more in the basic English series.

Yes, that was the plan. I wanted to prepare them to answer polite, curious questions from Americans. Shortly after this, Andreia was able to come to my home and join a ladies' tea. She handled herself very well and could answer most of the questions my neighbors asked her. Thanks for watching, Sergei. Enjoy your weekend!

Sadly, I can't study with anyone in person right now. I haven't seen Flavia and Andreia in months. COVID-19 and the pandemic shut down face-to-face learning in the USA. These lessons were recorded before the pandemic. Thankfully, we can all study together online. :)

Hi. Good question. Yes, it's fine to ask, "Do you like Boston?" You'll be happy to know I plan to give attention to phrasal verbs in 2021. There are multiple meanings of "cut out." It would be useful practice to try and match the meaning to your examples. www.ldoceonline.com/dictionary/cut-out

Yes, you can talk about winter as a season and use it as a countable noun. For example, winters in Boston are very cold. (The winter season in Boston is very cold.) Winters are difficult for the elderly. (Wintertime is difficult for the elderly.)
