Let's Start Speaking Russian!
Today you’ll learn the phrase that I think, anyone going to any foreign country needs to learn first. It’s: “Excuse me, do you speak English?” When you have no time left before going to a Russian speaking country, you may at least learn this. Saying this phrase in Russian, you’re showing respect and consideration to the locals, and people may feel more eager to respond or help you.
First of all, when approaching someone you don’t know in the street, there’s no need to say "ЗдрАвствуйте", because it’s not really catching attention, you'd better start with “Excuse me”, and in a formal way. We learned this word and the differences in addressing people formally and informally in the previous video:

"я Очень мАло говорЮ по-рУсски" would rather refer to frequency, while "я немнОго говорЮ по-рУсски", or "я не Очень хорошО говорЮ по-рУсски", or "я плОхо говорЮ по-рУсски" would describe your ability to speak Russian.
