Wow, today I attended to a Prehispanic History class, the Teacher told us about this instrument, even he played it. He also said that this instrument can be found in Siberia. He brought the instrument to the class because he said that a similar khomus is played en Alaska. At the end of the class I thought of search the instrument in KZfaq and viola! you come up with this video today. This is as if the stars line up!

Hello Olena. your videos are VERY welcome especially since we now only associate your dear Russia with war. You show the rest of the world we can learn from more peaceful cultural exchanges through videos like this. I must confess I still learn from your lessons, the small things like holding the hand to the tongue has learnt me something for my own pupils too. Keep up the good work! Love from the Netherlands! The jaw harps I use are the Vietnames Dan Moi type and the bowed metal type, somewhat smaller than your Khomus.

Олена, киса не извеняйся за свой английский. Продолжай делать как ты и делаешь. У тебя все очень хорошо получается. Это в русской культуре принято извенятся, в западной же в таких случаях не извеняются. А вот если будешь добавлять шутки о своем акценте в произношении английских слов, то это, то что люди будут приветствовать. Удачи тебе красавица.
