Yes the poor will benefit...my teacher always brags about paying R4500 tax because it is able to help 6-10 children in the form of social grants🙂 otherwise the government uses that Tax in order to provide the poor of the poorest 🤜🤛

Thanks for your input. I agree with you. I always tell learners that its very fair to charge high income earners more tax than low income earners.

But i feel like its not fair. In that way, we will always be a developing country because these people are going to depend too much on the government... if we pay equal tax, it will encourage many people to work. Then we'll see increase in production of goods and services 🙂
