This is a quad for beginners. Thanks for giving us a tour that is also oriented to beginners. There are many fine, more advanced clips of people flying through trees and all that. This one fills a need. Where is the button to delete rude, snarky comments?

Thanks for your video. I looked at it before my quad was delivered. This inexpensive copter is not easy to fly but with practice it works. I bought this to learn with before investing in a Phantom 2, I use a open field until I can make it go where I want it too. Thanks again.

Uh, those 4 smaller bottoms by the throttle and the directional sticks are for trim. If the drone drifts in a direction or wants to turn when you're not actually giving it a command then you use those buttons to adjust it so it hovers as perfect as possible while you're giving it no input.

Nice one, it came in handy when I was setting up my Quadcopter

the slider buttons next to the sticks are for "trim", so if it keeps drifting in one direction all the time you can give it a couple clicks in the opposite direction to get a more stable hover. Also if you put it in mode 2 it can fight the breeze a lot better.

Just bought me this drone because from what I could see on KZfaq, it produced the best video....and price. So I am very much appreciating what you have done here to get me ready. Now I will give you a couple of tips. Upload your HD video to KZfaq as PRIVATE. When you have it ready, publish as PUBLIC. Somehow this will kick it into HD. Don't know how, but this is what KZfaqrs say and it works. Secondly, if you reduce the speed of your video from normal to 2x slower (2x may not be slow enuf...need to experiment)....this slowing down will take some of the shake out of the footage. I see you can do this from your KZfaq Creator Studio. Or, since I use WeVideo, I can do it there and upload. Finally, I see in the KZfaq creator studio where you can edit your vids, click on ENHANCEMENTS and bump color saturation + 2x and also add + 2x to contrast. I have a video of a blue jay on my channel (under 2 min. long) jumping from sunlight to shawdow. The original will say, "SUNLIGHT COLOR WASHOUT" and the same vid with color saturation and contrast boosted 2x will say, "COPY SUNLIGHT COLOR WASHOUT." You will have took take a second to look for these two vids. Watch the COPY after the original to see what I mean. Shot from a Browning Spec Ops trailcam. Adding an edit here....I have a DELL. I find that if I insert my SD card and then above CONTRO PANEL click on COMPUTER and open all files so I can see them (that are on the SD card)....then drag them over to the left and drop into the VIDEO folder. Then I double click on the vids and watch and rename. These re-named clips (if more than one) I upload to WeVideo. From WeVideo I edit and FINISH...meaning uploading (select PRIVATE and select to KZfaq and select 720p). Then follow what I said above. Anyhow, just a 72 y.o. idiot who is trying to figure this all out.

Not a bad beginner video, I would like to have sen you fly her. though...I have been looking at getting into a hobby and either a drone or a plane of helicopter. I haven't decided yet. The drones are cool but to really get a good one your talking over one thousand US dollars. They have drones that fit in your hand as small as the palm. They look fun for playing with the kitty cats. I have a neighbor that has three drones and they are fast. he's getting better and better, one has a screen to see where he is going and the area he is in. I have seen him do flips and go through trees and even under trucks. Really cool stuff.

Hey can you connect the camera to an i pad or a computer while your flying so you can see where your drone is?

Which is the left and the right on this quad? Would forward be backwards or vice-versa. If it is flying perpendicular to the parallel axis should the trim setting be increased or decreased, if at all ??

The four buttons near the joy sticks adjust the pitch and yaw.

When you get comfortable flying it, cut those plastic rings off and it will handle the wind much better.. also, if the wind is just a little too strong, put it in mode 2 as it has much more agility and ability.

My same quad is drifting crazy to the left at a 45. I think maybe the right stick is stuck. About 10 secs into flying I'm fighting it going the direction I want the whole time.

what format does it record in? when i try to watch on my tablet, it only plays the audio

Just got one for Christmas and this was a great video being that I'm a beginner. I still have a questions you may be able to answer that your video didn't cover. What are the 2 buttons on the top-left and top-right for? The ones between the antenna on the shoulder of the remote. I press the left one and my drone went all crazy in mid-air and flipped upside down. Luckily it was only about 3 feet in the air so when it crashes, nothing broke. Just curious if you know.

I'm not sure if he said this but don't turn off controller when the drone is still on it will take off by itself and possibly break if it falls :)

I have one and I plugged in the battery to the drone, turned the controller on, put the throttle up and down, and it was able to fly. The drone only flew for a few seconds until it stopped flying and the controller (Annoyingly) beeped constantly. How do I fix this?

Buttons are to trim the copter so it's flying level. Toggles are for moving the copter.

one thing can you attach a phone to it to have a live shot to see where you are flying. To the controller that is.

Mine came with the camera in a seperate box, it seems impossible to fit. There is a socket, which I think is for the camera, but its tucked inside facing inward.
