Thank you, Costi. These videos have really made an impact in my heart and I can totally relate it to Romans 6 which I had been studying last week. I meditate on this passage when I struggle with self control and try to remind myself that the purpose of my new life is to glorify God. But, I often forget to rely on God, rather than my strength to overcome temptation. And, this has reminded me to focus on God first.

Thanks so much for this series! Costi may remember teaching at Kootenai Community church in Sandpoint, ID last June. We loved having him there and learning from him. Just wanted to mention that Pastor Jim Osman spoke very plainly on killing sin habits in his sermon about three weeks ago, called Guarding the Marriage Bed (Part 2) from Hebrews 13:4. His exhortation on the practicalities of doing this are in agreement with Costi's words here, yet go beyond due to more time in which to expand the theme. Our Unbegotten God: ‘Unbegotten’ means “not created; having no beginning; eternal.” God the Father is the source of existence for *ALL THINGS.* We were chosen from within him before the foundations of the world, which in turn makes us eternal as well. We were always with God before the world was, but after Adam and Eve committed sin, we became separated from God. Sin cannot be in the presence of God. This is why God sent his only begotten Son to die for our sins-to seek and save that which has become lost and to reconcile us back to God. Jesus has come to bring us back home to the Father; the one and only God.
