Love the way you make these topics accessible - you're one of the 4 KZfaq channels I recommend to everyone I know, including my son, to educate themselves on the whole investment space. Democratisation of knowledge has come a long way and I hope you keep doing what you're doing....

I don’t know about investing - but I know Damien costs me a fortune. Almost every episode I end up buying the guests book on Amazon. Going to buy this one too as I love the history of finance.

Lovely content guys. Thanks for this. I was listening with my phone on my pocket and it did type a bunch of random emojis in a comment. Thought I should replace it with an actual comment. I do appreciate the work you guys are doing. Most people haven’t got a clue of how to prepare financially. Thanks for doing us a service.

Excellent production. I would have a bigger table though, or use a splitscreen instead of that middle shot - feels a bit cramped. Topic and interview great as always 💯

I am learning to trade the markets and a lot of this rings true. Theres so much bad advice out there, especially related to emotions. Its truly a battle of self, building an edge and sticking to it. Btw, the method I am using is based on Wyckoff, the principles of which are over 100 years old. The market never changes.

A lot of these apps are marketing at a more gambling approach to the stock market.

I think we also need to not underplay the fact that the gamble is a major part of our drive to invest, particularly actively. Plus ultimately, now more that ever, the market will always be ahead of the investor - until it crashes.

J M Keynes was a successful investor; he used common sense. He saw that the demand for electrical applisnces would create a derived demand for coal, so bought coal mine shares at temporarily depressed prices.

Is it just me or is Damo's big blue eyed stare quite intimidating? Speaks so softly and so well with his guests, but the lack of blinking and that stare just seems so opposed to his tone of voice 🤣

How is it going to work when there are huge amounts of people investing. Everybody having workplace pensions nowadays. Surely everybody cant have a big pension fund. Whats the trade off? Everybody cant be rich ? I must be missing something simple.
