Norma here. Aww, I really hope that Waylon is physically and mentally okay. Poor guy is just too young, small and inexperienced to be caught in that very dangerous situation. Thankfully Jake, Bri and Paw Paw jumped in to get everyone to safety. I don’t know if this was discussed before this happened, but it needs to be discussed now. Whenever workers are on your property, LE or Megan need to check all gates after they leave. All this could have been prevented if someone had checked the gates.

Families (human and animal) came together. Waylon and Pearl did great defending each other and your dad, Bri and Jake did awesome getting a dangerous situation under control. That's what families do. Glad nobody was injured and Waylon will be alright.

Everyone is being so lovely, complimentary of everyone banding together to help, proud of Pearl and Waylon, and so very happy Waylon wasn't hurt badly. I feel that too and love seeing the support! However, I'm completely pissed and they aren't even my cattle! Once is a mistake; twice is negligence. Knowing how much you love your animals, Lester, I suspect that there's been ample communication and it won't happen again. 😉 I also think whoever didn't properly close it will probably think twice or three times the next time they go through gates in the future regardless of where they are. 😆

Pearl is the lady of the day! She was the oldest, and she was not gonna stop until everybody was protected, including Waylon even though he wanted to protect his girls all of them are incredible animals. This was a side to see, even though it was scary.
