I so much enjoy listening to the ole time preaching of the men of God who won't water down the Word. Too many now have so watered down the Bible, and God's teaching that people are deceived and do not hear the truth. Big churches bring in big money. I know one that demands a yearly estimate of income so tithes can be required accordingly. Another requires the tithes be subtracted from church attendant's bank account monthly. There are so much unholy church issues today; no wonder God isn't seen as worthy of praise or worship. We in America are guilty of turning from God's will. Abortion is no different than the Jews who passed their babies through the fires in worship to Baal. Churches allowing pastors to lie instead of telling the truth, worshiping a woman as the way to heaven, men preferring men and women preferring women as mates in life and it is becoming everyday life as we close our eyes to sin; even punishing Christians who will not be part and party to the people who live that way. I wonder how long God will wait until the Man of Sin will reveal himself? How long will God wait until He removes His Love and Glory from America? We have far passed the sins of the Jews in the Old Testament days; only the love of Jesus sustains us.

Your are correct. People who never study God's Word do not have any understanding of their own. They rely on their favorite Pastor or TV Evangelist and take every word as truth. Then having received the lie they live a sinful life because they are deceived. Satan is the great Deceiver; he lies to Pastor, Pastor lies to congregation, gets paid salary to lie and Satan has done his job. The media Pastors of today must be lined up with the Word of God or dismissed from our viewing. So the problem is on both lying Pastors and those who refuse to study the truth for themselves.

@@MrShnazer I believe that at some point; probably, all of us have done that. It doesn't hold anyone back if at the point of knowledge, understanding the need for personal relationship with God, we can use that as the avenue to change. The day in which we live is difficult, at best, to draw closer to God. He understands that also and in my life He gives much Grace to overcome any thing holding me back. There is no area of our life, that when need be, that can hold us away from God's love. We must make that first move to draw closer to Him. It is never too late to allow God to enlarge our lives. We are God's created Glory, His shining achievement, the love He gave everything to obtain; because of He values His loved ones that much. Ben, I pray God enriches your life. That He draws you closer to Himself and allows you to understand the love He has for you.

For many years I have enjoyed the teachings of great men such as Pastor Sumrall, and others like him. Sadly the numbers of preachers and teachers such as these are being called home. The teachers and preachers of today often fail to teach the true service to God. The Bible is being watered down and replaced with half truth and no truth. Teaching in the Bible that one day this would happen is proof of it's own word to be the only true Word. The Bible is The Living Word; nothing can change that and in my opinion only the translation of King James 1611 is my choice. I hope I have gone on before that Word is taken from mankind. "So then Faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." Romans 10:17 It is given to all who are called God's own to speak the true Word; from that will come salvation. We are called to spread God's Word.

Sometimes knowing all these things aren't enough to cause the world to stay away; the enemy is perfected in personal attacks and even our daily study, prayer and steadfast life comes unraveled before our eyes. We are tried in the fires of daily life; one day will be good then comes a whole week of bad. I have lived through nearly 74 years of trial and error. Nearly 60 years a Christian; seen many joys, more sorrows, all with God's loving care over my life. You are correct, the Word purifies us. Some people believe that God is in heaven and we will see Him in the sweet bye and bye; not to me. My Father abides within my heart. Studying His Word is communicating together; just He and me. Jesus is the fulfillment of the Promise that I will one day join my heavenly family and only by His gift of love will that remain active in my life. What a great joy to know that no matter what or if things go wrong the Gift of Christ' s Blood, the fellowship through the Holy Spirit, and my Father's love is only a transformed heart sound away. By faith we are saved, by faith we are reborn, and by faith we maintain the fellowship through Christ Jesus. Be Blessed in Christ's love.

@@paulmichaellalechowicz.390 I am a student of the Word for nearly 60 years and Thank God blessed to be called to teach. I have in my arena of books many Bibles and study material. The common wording in the day that was of the particular passage spoken of truly refers to love and also included within the scope of it's meaning charity. This is depending on which standard in timing in which the setting is being told and by who it is defined. 1 Corinthians 13: is the scripture I believe you are referring to. It is my assumption you do not have the original text from 1611 King James Bible; which says in verse 13: "And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity." The word charity is taken from the Greek word agape; ag-ah-pay. which is taken from the word agapao. The word agape means love-feast or feast of charity/ably of course is the words dear & love. You are correct in your meaning; but so too , is the wording used as love. Christ in His direction of both life lessons meant both as one in the same in value. John was correct in his meaning of the word usage but so is the usage in 1 Corinthians 13:13. That is what is meant when we are instructed that the Bible is a Living Word. Once anything is alive there is multiple actions available in usage. Be Blessed.

It reads in Isaiah 11:6 "The wolf also shall dwell with the the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them. 7. And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together; the lion shall eat straw like the ox. " Isaiah 65: 25, "The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall eat straw like the bullock: and dust shall be the serpent's meat. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain, saith the Lord." All these words are under the heading of "A KINGDOM of PEACE" because they will be happening because there is a new heaven and a new earth and Christ rules in this Kingdom Earth. I am not sure from where you have seen the scripture of the lion laying down with the lion but in the major Bible versions I read from; I have not found this scripture in just that wording. I do not each to correct or shine any light on error; I teach to enlighten and enlarge the understanding of God's Word in truth. That is what must be done; even in this day, for those like us who want that truth to be followed.

Yeah, a lot of this sort of thing is going on today!

The reason is because so many preacher of today are looking for entitlement and so they preach it. There are few true men of God; more wanting big name and big crowds and they tell want is unneeded but toward what people want to hear. Thank God that the men such as this Brother that are still open us. But the day is coming that these may be outlawed.

There are some out there but it is a dying breed. The church is full of false converts.

It’s true that many churches are missing the mark, however, not all of them are like that. My pastor and church are not like that. Don’t let that be your excuse for the forsaking of the assembly.

The great commission is twofold. 1. PREACHING Matthew 28:19 NKJV Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 2. TEACHING Matthew 28:20 NKJV teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Amen. What you have described is in part 1. The church also needs teachings. Though, I don't think there is actually anything wrong with titles. As they were used even by the first church. Sin is a complicated thing with a simple answer. Some folks think too much of sin; others think too little of it. Some believe once Christ has cleansed us we are safe from all sin that no matter what, we can not sin. Others believe they must hide from any aspect of any chance of sin therefore hide from any association with the world. Sin is everywhere every moment of every day. We choose to take to ourselves or to refuse that temptation; so it is not Satan which causes us to sin; it is our own weakened spirit man which has lost the shield of faith. Lost the fellowship we need to give us strength to turn away from even the temptation and toward the all abiding joy of God's love. Can anyone live a Holy life with out sealing themselves away from all worldly things? We are to be minsters of God's Word; only by interaction can we accomplish that; fortification in the Bible and ingesting God's Word is the only way. We cannot serve two masters. Jesus said if we love Him we keep the His commandments because if we love we won't sin against GOD others or ourselves. If you love your neighbor as yourself you think how it would hurt him and you if you were him if you sinned against Him or if you sin against yourself how it will hurt you God and others. Because Christ is the Word; became flesh, died for all sins, rose to the defeat of sins and will return to fulfill every Word of that WORD. Man may break every word of the Bible. I read through that first Bible in one year I can't remember how many times. And many times since; through every different version I thought could enlighten me. None stood the test to be my guide and friend, more than the King James for it's pure truth and solid worth. I do not however tell anyone that is the only Bible to read or study. I believe it to be most useful and true in it's structure and value. I don't try to hard sell God, the Bible, or Christian living. They speak for themselves. Nearly 60 years I have been learning the Bible and teaching it. It is my life and my joy. God saved my life and he did it with the Bible; that IS my history. All I am, all I can do, and all I ever will be is because God loved me, gave me true living, and a free mind and whole spirit.} I died (no breathe, no heart beat several minutes) (twice with doctors on either side of me), God brought me back. Once I died in an ambulance, no pulse no heartbeat for several minutes; God brought me back. Once in at church, no pulse, no heart beat for several minutes; a dear brother who is was a paramedic; knelt by my ear and said, "I can't bring you back if you don't help me. you have to help me" I had to fight to stay alive that day' God brought me back, but I didn't want to be alive. We all have a purpose, I supposed is why and I still have that purpose in my life. Because even though my health isn't good, I can hardly walk, and have great pain all the time from terrible injuries to my spine caused almost twenty years ago; doctors said I would never walk again (I never have stopped walking; God helps me to walk) my mind strong, my spirit is strong and my love for my God is strong. That to me is all the history I need.

We cant end religion. Forsake not the assembling of yourselves together as is the manner of some. Kinda thing. We are supposed to be one body. A family. Pretty hard to help one another and do all the things we are supposed to do if we don't assemble. While I agree with you on most churches it's not biblical to stay out of church. How do I know you brother? How do I know how to pray for you and your family. What if I wanted to drop food off for you? It just doesn't work. That's why we are such a mess now that and fire and brimstone not being preached anymore.

"Religion": according to Websters New World revised Dictionary; means holiness; 'belief in and worship of God or gods; specific system of belief, worship often involving a code of ethics.' Depending on how we view the word, our belief in the importance of it, and whether or not it pertains to us; we will live by it or dismiss it and it's value. Does Faith involve worship? Does love mean we follow any specific system of belief or code of ethics? How about holiness/ any place for religion involved in righteousness if holy living is required? I view religion as meaning (for myself) as right standing in God's eyes. Or ,if you will, standing upright before God. Call it what ever; as long as I please God. I understand that the modern church world has dragged religion through so much mud it is sickening; true the word has taken on a new meaning. You are correct; the religion of these so called churches are false, but righteousness is still alive and we decide which side of the religion circle we hold on to. Faith is the mortal that holds us to the creator which completes us in the Kingdom. Love is the product that is of most value toward the outward appearance of Christ through one another. First toward ones self; then towards the world. All towards the Master; hoping together for His return. We can not live without His Holy Spirit to guide, support, and nurture our faith daily to the strength of the Living Church of God, which includes every born again Christian.

Prophets always had been given prophecy for something that was going to come to pass throughout the Bible. Gift of prophecy is one thing but being a prophet is another.

Dispensation means only division of times. The Word does clearly set apart particular spaces of times. True the word does not appear within the Bible; that men has set this meaning to time, times and half times isn't to say they have misused a wording. Our fellowship should not be in the importance of how we describe in certain particular words but to make clear understanding. This brother is trying to reach out to a massive amount of people with a message God has put forth through him; thank God for those who are still teaching even though they no longer are among us. The day will come when no Word will be allowed as we are blessed to hear openly as is now provided. One day there will only be words that government will allow openly; One World Government and One World Religion will be ruled by a man and to openly worship a Heavenly True God will cost you your life. Yes; of course there will always be those who believe in the True God and worship Him Only; but not openly and live. Faith will be on earth but the Word says If Christ tarries will he find any faith at all! Divisions are all over God's Word, He allows us to teach but in successful teaching such as we hear from those who have stood the test of time comes from God's Anointing.

@@maggiejones6458 Thanks. Yes I agree you can divide time up into dispensations and it's actually a nice little tool to help understand the progression of Gods plan. My objection is that he made it a cornerstone of his faith and all Christians' faith. He said without it a Christian is nothing. Forgive me for paraphrasing. My second objection is that dispensationalism is a loaded word that has come to stand for an entire theology. It includes or could include a secret rapture, a pretribulation rapture, a millennial reign of Christ on earth over the righteous and wicked, a false separation of God's people into Jews and Gentile each with its own eschatology, and a certain interpretation of Daniel's 70 week prophecy, the 1260 day prophecy and other Bible time prophecies, and much more.The Bible is Christ centered and needs a Christocentric interpretation. @@davidlarondelle2326 I see any dispensation as only profit to any good accept to the grace it provides. Though it is widely being used now and has been for many years I do not set my mind solidly in any special teaching at this point. I lean on the Word of God and only on occasion study the books I have on this. My favorite is Dispensational Truth by Clarence Larkin copyrighted 1918. He claims the Holy Spirit to have imparted this knowledge to him. His charts and graphs he gives credit also to the knowledge by the Holy Spirit. He gives clear and insightful meaning to every word of the Bible Scriptures and he is a very learned instructor. You say loaded; by that you could mean at least two meanings I can think of. One being a useful one the other truly useless. I leave that blank for the present. I am not clear on whether this brother has the dispensations of his teachings as having to be Christian mainstay; not I hope mine, nor should be of any Christian's. I believe as a tool it is necessary to understand as well as possible the meaning of the dividing of the Word as for as God's plan is allowed to us. But if we knew wholly and totally everything just as is explained by men of God it would be at once either very helpful or too hard to follow. I have lived as Christian and teacher of God's Word by and through his Grace for nearly 60 years and in all that time have yet to know everything clearer or better than what God and His wisdom has imparted through all my studies. As to clarification of your objection; clearly on point. I object to all the un-explaining, over-explaining, and just plain ex of the planning of God. God never meant for me to understand everything. I don't retain all I hear from anyone, ever; except the Bible and only a truly proven Word. Since I am Christian in faith; believe that the foremost equity to my need is the Promise that I am sealed in my Lord's ability to keep me. Come what may, one day my life will depend on my own value as the child of God through the Saving Grace of Christ by His Blood. From that I can only learn what I can and discord what is of no value. @@marciajones2361 I totally agree; there will absolutely be a Rapture. Most Bible teachers and preachers will also agree. The question no one can answer is when? When will it happen? I have the opinion that we are not supposed to know when; just stay close to God, serve with the love of Christ and read, read, read the Word. I affirm that every Christian person should (try?) to teach a Bible Class. To truly teach on any topic of any part of the Word, is not as easy as the public may think. It takes prayer, study, and much clear understanding of God's grace to truthfully have the true understanding and meaning before presenting any teachings to people who may actually know more than most teachers. Having taught 50+ years of teaching God's Word has given a great understanding into the knowledge; both good and bad, of Christian's minds. Most have no understanding of the topic of the Rapture.

@@maggiejones6458 no where in the bible does it say a rapture will occur or even the word rapture cannot be found in the bible ...what CHRIST asks about his 2nd coming in luke 18:8 is will he (CHRIST )...find true faith ...? ..simply becuz in hebrews 9:28 ..CHRIST brings salvation or truth back to the bible....so in mathew 24:29-35 or luke 21:25-28... CHRIST is coming in the clouds ( a physical birth) with power n great glory simply means like CHRISTS 1st coming in daniel 7:12-14 ....where it was prophesised he would come in the clouds ( a physical birth )...700 years b4 JESUS CHRISTS birth !!! ...to set up an ever lasting kingdom...is different then 1thesolonians or 1st corinthians where it is the abomination of earth where the dead in CHRIST. shall rise first ( 1st judgement ) .. spoken of in isaiah 24 which the total desolation of 🌎....earth....
