I’m trying to let go of a long time friend and my husband said I keep making excuses and justifying their actions when it comes down to the very simple idea that she doesn’t want to see me or value me outside of her own needs. It seemed so brutal to hear that my closest friend just didn’t want me- but i kept ignoring it. It’s time to let go and find acceptance in this situation. To accept we are on different paths and I need to put my efforts in the areas that compliment my life.

What I learned the most about this video is to accept that person as they are. I feel like I’ve trying to “manipulate” them into the person I WANT them to be. What I HOPE they could be. But in reality is that I’m always disappointed, because what I truly expect never happens. So, working on accepting them as they are, without expecting anything from them is what I must do from now on. Thank you so much for your words 🤍

When you said that “before this person was in your life they didn’t mean anything to you” - yes! He came into my life and it messed me up. I feel like I was much happier before him. I want my old self back.

1. Attachement or happiness? Make that decision now 2. Aware of the pattern it cam from or the story you're telling yourself that makes you hold to it 3. Perspective - the happiness comes from within you (it doesn't come from this person or attachment) 4. Happiness for the fact you're 5. Practice total acceptance & full love of everyone and everything that is like it is - fully accept people rather than expect them to be different. Don't have expectations of other people - as these are exactly what keeps you unhappy. We're also manipulating them. RADICALLY ACCEPT & LOVE. 6. Be yourself wihtout the expectation to receive something from others. Don't act in certain way in order to receive or get the access to yourself.

What's difficult for me when it comes to detaching is loneliness. When someone is such a huge part of everyday of your life for years, what do you do when they're gone? Especially as someone with social anxiety who's not good at making new friends and doesn't really have any.. thank you for this video. ❤ you have a lot of wisdom and this really helped me with perspective.

@Sam-du7cm

@@zara7276 i've been there. that's when you fill that hole with hobbies, passions, family, friends and things that should naturally be there. That way you not only don't depend on one person anymore, but you're attaching to who you are/are supposed to be. If one friend goes, it hurts, but it's okay because you have a life outside that one particular friend. That's also what i got from the video is nobody likes the pressure of being completely relied on by someone, to be responsible for their mental well-being. But start with the question "what can i do now that i couldn't, didn't, or forgot to do during my previous relationship/attachment" whether it be meditating, taking baths again, watching tv, hockey, journaling, etc.

Just go out and talk to people (not through comforts of social media) and actually experience life, that's the only way (make mistakes and a lot of smart mistakes as quick as possible the more you'll learn, seriously. Perspective matters you know. Learn dancing, it's good and people will naturally gravitate to you and speak and even dance with you, dance anywhere and everywhere but vibe, don't dance just to attract people, it can't be faked, similar to confidence can't be faked. Anxiety is cured is by understanding and experience, yep that's right, actually for me it worked, I don't have anxiety, well I think but that's about it. Goodluck mate.

The concept of letting go, detaching and accepting what is has been the biggest block to manifesting for me. I've dealt with major anxiety which leads to needing to control. This video has really reinforced steps i need to make in detachment within my relationship. I had an epiphany right in the middle of me apologising for some harmful self critical behaviour that had been going on for a while and I cried a lil as I felt immense guilt, to be met with not much response from my bf...this made me cry more as I just wanted some reassurance. I was expecting him to soothe me but he decided to not enable me. It was at that moment, i stopped crying and thought I’m expecting way too much from him in changing how I feel about me. I’m the only person that can validate myself and realised I’ve been looking to him to do it. Nope today it stops, no looking to others to make myself happy. I was this before him and can continue to be that way with or without him

This felt like such a wake-up call to me. I've been "in love" with someone for 3 years now. We dated for a while, and he told me he never liked me but wanted to stay friends. Recently he's even told me that he doesn't want to talk regularly anymore. Although this shattered my heart, I know there's a way out of the sadness I've been feeling since we broke up. He doesn't matter anymore. I need to make room for someone that does. Thank you infinitely for your video. You've earned a new subscriber.

Accept yourself as you are. Accept everyone as they are. Release expectations of others and replace it with full acceptance not wanting to change anyone or anything. Choose your happiness and know that it comes from within, not external. Remember who you were before you knew them. Know where this attachment roots from. Be authentically you with 0 expectations and let them too. Don’t expect things from others for something in return. It releases disappointment. (Mine is from childhood - my mother / feeling not good enough, unseen, people pleasing)

Steps: 1- Bring to mind someone who you have been feeling attached or anxious about Do you want to remain attached or be happy? Let go of that attachment 2- Where this attachment came from? Expectations? Find the lie from this attachment came from "without this person you will never be happy/married" 3- Perspective: before this person you were fine, and after you will be ok too before this person you didn´t care about them 4- Nothing outside of you can make you happy or unhappy 5- Practice full acceptance 6- Be yourself without pretending to accomplish another´s expectations Don´t act certain ways in order to get things from other people

YES leeor that is what. I learned when I went into my current relationship. When I started dating them I knew I wanted to let them be who they were and love them for it. This shined so much light on my own self, desires, triggers and more. It was so powerful and I still work with this 2 years into the relationship because we are always changing ❤

Very insightful messaging on non-attachment and total acceptance. Your perspective has really helped me better understand how to untangle my attachment to an ego driven point of view. I will revisit your process often and use it as a reminder to fully accept people for who they are and accept them for what they have to offer.

Our emotions are caused by our perception. Not others... your words gave me this realization once more. I leave this comment so not only I, but many others can relearn this truth as well. Thank you darling for this amazing video, it was exactly what i needed to be reminded of. From this point forward I will love every person, situation and thing. I choose love, and I love you! The one making this video...the one reading this comment... whomever comes across this comment, i pray you feel my love. As my expectations are lowered, my happiness, peace and love grow in response.

Leeor! I love you so much, it's crazy how you said I'd feel a shift immediately, and I did! I feel the peace, love, and total acceptance as a result of becoming unattached, I'm so thankful for your video, my favorite part was when you mentioned your friend secretly wanted/needed a relationship with God, and that masculine energy was truly what she desired, the pressure she put on her partner as a result wasn't healthy, I'm taking notes, love this input!

First of all, I love that you are wise beyond your years! Thank you for this video. I searched for “ how to let go” in a moment of pain and self evaluation, wanting to find the tools to let go of my old identity as a mother. This attachment is hard to let go, as not in my wildest dreams did I think my role as a mother would ever had to transform and change so drastically. You see, I birthed twins at the age of 19. I stopped my life, my dreams , my freedom and took on motherhood like a warrior. I raised them to be good men, but now that they are 27 I feel discarded and it’s triggering my abandonment issues. I had imagined this stage to be so different. There is definitely a lot of grieving to do ! Accepting him as he shows up ( I am referring to one of them in specific ) is so difficult but it is definitely my goal, as I always want him in my life. I think I had this belief that my sacrifice and investment would be reciprocated. That I didn’t abandoned them and that they wouldn’t leave me. It’s not how it working out … With that said, I am committed to being happy and free of emotional pain, so I’ll do what I need to do to get there.
