I was reminded of this song when I heard it on the radio a few days ago, and knew instantly that I wanted to record it straight away.
I’ve always been obsessed with the harmonies of the Everly Brothers and it was poignant that I should hear this song by chance. It’s a song that, from experience, can make even the toughest person shed a tear.

This observation almost fits... The look of the video reminded me of Mad Magazine's Spy Vs Spy comic from yesteryear (see, I told you it almost fits). Of course, I waited until the end of the song to write this comment because I love the rendition of an old classic. And the Spy Vs Spy observation is not an insult. It is an indictment on my age, and my innate goofiness.

I absolutely love this. When I really love a song or artist, it is rare for me to like covers of their work anywhere near as much as the original, but your version is every bit as good.
