Hi there, nice video. The pitot heat only goes on during taxi as you'll blow the heating elements. That's why the airspeed indicator failed. Hope you enjoy the L-410 just as I do! 😉 FYI, v2 of the model is in works, so plenty things to come...

Roland Kovacs, thanks for the tip on the pitot heat. We'll need to move that item in our checklist. We're really enjoying flying this aircraft! Are you the developer? We would love to do a video featuring V2 when it releases.

You are welcome. Thanks for the comment. We have a video on the Do328 freeware on the FSElite KZfaq channel. It's not a tutorial, but you might like it. My suggestion is to get the xchecklist plugin and xchecklist for the Do328. It will read you each step, and mark of each procedure as you complete it. I successfully flew it on the first attempt with no other help than the xchecklist.

Thanks for a great video! The Let is a joy to fly, and you went through the startup procedure very clearly! I have a question regarding the autopilot though. I'm having the greatest trouble getting it to hold altitude and stay level. It keeps wobbling slighly to left and right, and despite setting the altitude hold, or having VS mode on with 0 setting, it keeps climbing/descending, fluctuating. I don't see that happening for you, and I'm wondering if I'm doing something wrong. I thought maybe the game was buggy, and eventually I deleted it and re-installed, but I keep having this issue. Any tips?

Interesting. Maybe check that all the correct systems are activated on the overhead panel. Also check that your airspeed is appropriate. Going too fast could cause an aircraft to porpoise up and down . That's all the guesses I have.

Hi. After following the first steps (battery on, intercom and nav VHF1 on) Garmin430 is fully black. Any help ?

Interesting. I am not sure what is happening there. Just to confirm, you turned on both batteries, right? Assuming you have done it exactly as we did it should be working. Maybe try activating the rest of the switches in the NAV and VHF row, just to experiment. This is an aircraft that they occasionally update, so perhaps there has been some change in the panel since we made the video?

The sounds need to be updated! I found that there is default x plane sounds mixed with some custom sounds.

I don’t know why but some of the switches that say clickable but when I actually click on them they don’t do anything can somebody help? I’m using Mac mid-2014

Hello, how do you change the altitude with the autopilot. When I put my autopilot my plane somehow goes crazy and just starts pitch up, stall and then start wobbling left and right all over the place. Why could this be and when I turn off the autopilot it still does it. Any ide show to fix it

Interesting. Have you used this type of autopilot before? I did not have that issue, so I believe it works as designed. We do have a video in the works on this autopilot model, as it is the same as the Cessna 172.

Flight Brothers FT I have never used this autopilot before as a matter of fact I have never used autopilot before because I’m learning. Did you make a tutorial on how to use this gps? Also what flight planning site did you use?

It's probably going to be easier if you check out our channel. We have a tutorial playlist and a flight school playlist. The GA flight planning video is great for smaller aircraft and we also have an airliner planning video that covers the longer routes and briefing materials.

Question: I can't get my nose wheel to steer along with the rudder, even tried X-Plane's "Nosewheel Steering" button but that only seems to lock/unlock it. It's quite a pain to taxi using individual engine thrust... What have I missed/done wrong??

Did you try reloading the sim after making that change? That is the common fix, “nosewheel steering” as you’ve done.

@@FlightBrothersFT Yeah I just restarted the day after, tried again, and it magically worked. Was pulling my hair out as I've read the damn manual, and the "Nose Wheel Steering Mode" switch isn't even operational, so I went haywire lol.

@@FlightBrothersFT Bought the L-410 UVP-T (Cargo version) as my first owned aircraft a few days ago on FSEconomy, and so far she's been great! If it was a payware for around $20 I'd still buy it, though expecting a little more polishing inside the cockpit, this little plane really does it for me. :)

great aircraft but my engines keep going off.. I've set the fuel but after 1-2 minutes the tanks are dropping from 400kgs per Tank to 0.0 and the engines turn off

I'm guessing, but it is possible you are over-stressing the engines. Are you adjusting the mixture and prop speed after your initial climb?

Flight Brothers FT i don’t even get to the climb. It isn’t even possible to taxi with this aircraft because the engines fail around a minute after the start which makes it impossible to make a climb..

Thanks for the video! how do I open the doors in this Aircraft? I also get to 9,000 feet and switch the A/P to ALT and it starts climbing steeper to over 3,000fpm

Hello. Typically pressing shift and a function key (F1, F2, etc) will toggle doors on most aircraft. It has been awhile since I have flown the Turbolet so I don't remember which worked. I am not sure why your ALT isn't holding for you. Check to see if there is an altitude setting that needs adjusted (if that setting is there, your AP will chase it rather than capture current alt). Again, I apologize for not being certain, it has been quite awhile.

Nice video and very useful when we bought this plane only 2 questions, how do we open the doors? Joystick buttons it does not work! keyboard either! I searched in vain for an open button! tablet 0.3.8 great but where can we find the cards? thank you in advance for your reply.

Hellou, nice video. I have a problem and I cannot find a solution. After turning on the NAVI VHFI, a strange loud sound starst in the cabine, and stays all the time, like a engine start up. Is there any solution to solve this problem? Thanks 😁

Interesting problem, and not one I've ever had happen. If it keeps happening, try to video it. In the comments below is one of the 'test' pilots for the developer. Perhaps he can help, or the developer could be contacted directly. They have a website.

Typically pressing SHIFT and F1, or F2, etc will open/close doors and hatches on most Xplane aircraft. Some payware do not use this, but I believe those commands work on the L410.

I really do not know. They have continued work on this project, so it is quite possible it has some added features since this video's release.

Avitab is a separate plugin you must download, however it won’t have the cool tablet appearance like in the Zibo 737.

Go to options menu and set Anisotropic filtering to at least 8x Your eyes will thank you and your GPU wont feel ANY difference whatsoever.

it is texture filtering method. It makes far textures observed at low angles or high distances look way sharper. It cost almost zero gpu power since texture filtering was one of those early first graphic accelerator effects when they started with 3dfx company and few others. We can certainly try to help. First thing to check: Look at the Garmin, the first button on the bottom left of the screen says CDI. Make sure it says GPS on the screen above the button, of it says VLOC you need to press the button to switch to GPS. VLOC allows the autopilot and displays to track radio beacons such as VORs. To follow your flight plan in the Garmin, you must be in GPS mode for the systems to access it. Let us know if it that works. If not,please describe further what is not working.
