I agree with you. So much camping and spamming. Ranked is so repetitive. It’s nice that they added Grandmaster, but with me also being an aggressive player, it’s harder to be aggressive if everyone is camping and spamming. Tbh, snipers are annoying…everyone’s rocking it in S&D.

COD should just put the dead silent the way it was 0% sound so these campers can only protect one side at the moment not switching the angle the moment you become close . This will fix the issue permanently and the skills will be the most important role the way it used to be . Camping in a corner waiting to hear foot steps is not fun and I totally agree with that. You have to do some camping at some point ,it is like compulsory now ,cause guns have some insane time to kill ,so rushing gives you a 50% chance of surviving and dying if you go against MX9 while you also have a MX9 ,and the same case with holgers

Agree, this season I finally let go of MP and been enjoying BR so much since they put a lot of effort into it this season. If I wanted to get sniped I’d rather be sniped in BR since they don’t have a trophy system near them and obviously they can’t camp for long and are actually exposed and you actually have a chance to go toe to toe with them if you have a good squad.

This actually applied to all modes, I've literally went on a 10 lose streak due to every game having people camp near the point/flag. This 10 games were within 3 days and solo queue.

I’ve always been an aggressive player when I understood the logic of setting the pace of a match. But as of late, for so many seasons now, a lot of players have become lazy and relied so much on the strength of meta weapons to carry them which is absolutely absurd. The worst part is that people think they’re actually good because it works at times, yet their skill ceiling is stagnant. Overall, I think CODM ranked is getting stale, catering to those who don’t want to get challenged but want to win. It’s sad, sir. I feel you very much. Cheers and I know you’ll get your groove.

I think you just need to rethink a little bit about your positioning and rush strategies, considering the new routes, strategies and tricks that are used by tryhards. With the introduction of the new ranked, the new patents can separate the level of the players significantly, which means that being 8000+ points will put you against players who abuse anything they can to win. I’ve started playing very slowly. Taking it back to the basics, always checking corners and staying to the edges of the map. Crouch walking around, staying in cover but still pushing the other team.

Well as a player still on master I would say I HAVE to play passive because everyone just camps and if I rush I die and sadly majority of times the teammates are just trash, basic trash.

As soon as I switched my fov to 90 it was so fun rushing with a sniper for the first couple of games until it got boring because 5 camper in one place with mx9 or mythic m13 which is better than normal m13 for some reason prefire you

I think the map really matters right now. There are maps where you don't really want to play aggressively because of campers. As for me, I change guns and change my play style depending on the map.

I just wait for 1 or 2 weeks until all the pro, tryhard players go up, then grinding becomes enjoyable and easy. I'm not really into all those top 5000, not even grinding leggy so it's more fun this way.

Being a tryhard and trying to find the enemy is just huge minor error as snd Player. If u wanna win play safe not being dumb

Agree 200% with you. I had like 3 or 4 snipers in my team the other day. No one would move. All teams do now is snipe. Everything has changed and its soooooo much slower. We now play to avoid being sniped Haha

I feel you bro. It's kinda like that since a few seasons now. The new blackout map did bring some excitement back for those who play both MP and BR. But otherwise, it's dull now. As playing passive does win you a game but it's no fun. With your skills though, you'd be able to play passively much better than the campers. They sure can camp but their reaction time is slow compared to you so you'll be able to quickly switch from passive to aggressive and back. Game is now more on strategizing a win. Like all sports actually. Play football? Now when I go out to play with kids in the area all of them are now talking strategies, tactics, movements, and watching tutorial videos of best players deciphered... So it's more of work than it is fun now. This is with every aspect of the world now. Even work is so much work and less fun now.

I totally agree but the main reason is because the time to die is nearly in Ms so as long as you use smg meta the game is so fast no time to counter. If they reduce the rate and increase the shots to kill it would be more fun.

It is a legit strategy in S and D. You are supposed to just defend the bomb or let the time run out. This is not deathmatch where there exists spawn campers or those other annoying campers

Hey Jokesta, this is my response to your message at 10:16 I've run into the same problem vs campers until they recently changed how crouch walking works. Now, crouch walking doesn't make footsteps allowing you to rotate silently without the need to have Dead Silence. I still use Dead Silence from time to time on very aggressive guns like MX9 and Fennec, but now I have switched to Alert as my blue perk on some of my SnD loadouts because it helps a lot on very small and campy maps like Crash. Not saying its useless on large maps, but I don't really wanna crouch walk my way from mid to Jungle on to B on a map like Firing Range. Switching to Alert allows you to prefire more effectively and gives so much info for corner campers. Not to mention, if you have guns with high wall penetration / high mag size, you can effectively wallbang your way through camp spots with the help of this one perk. If you don't believe me, apparently, people in the Japanese CoDM comp scene have been using alert in SnD scrims according to another YTber, Kaimaru.

Ahh yes.. Players have increased who camp with shorty and katana at corners and it's so freaking annoying They camp with thier heartbeat sensor on.. That's why ghost perk is a must to use. Ranks have become very defensive. If you are on defender side. Strictly you must not push because the bombers themselves don't push till 1 min. 😐😢

My solution which worked for me is. I switched to the fennec. It allowed me to quick turn on campers with amazing hipfire accuracy. Make the switch to a gun that allows you to push with such speed and gun control

Similar thing is happening in br. People are ducking inside buildings and sniping enemies, it's most likely because map is more open and you can't be as aggressive.

I am glad this feeling resonates with a lot more people than I thought, I was just thinking this exact same thing today and I even decided that I am not going to play this game anymore because it's not fun and honestly the Devs made it much worse by nerfing slide and jump, basically they are motivating more people to camp. So much of my gameplay was based around my movement style and just rushing in, it's just not possible now. I raised this feeling of mine with the call of duty discord community and their answer was just "get good". So I don't think this issue is going to change anytime soon. Perhaps the best option would be to divert my interest towards another game that I actually enjoy playing, this is the end of cod for me.

If you're a push-type guy just bring a Smoke G. Blind smoke in their spot OR your spot for deception. Its useful to blind them especially for snipers from the opposite. Here in Garena server, heart beat sensor is useful to track camper if youre not using Alert Perk.

i think the reason you cant play aggressive in ranked anymore is because of the movement nerfs combined with everyone sweatingthe same thing applies to sniping you cant snipe aggressively anymore because you move as slow as a slug

It's simply an evolving counter strategy the game play. I hated getting into games and everyone was just running around corners blasting. Spot & stalk and picking your lanes has become a competitive answer to the run & gun and spray & pray.

For me camping with a machine gun felt so easy and good all I needed to do was find and shoot the enemy and had so many dead on the ground that I always get mvp sometimes since some players may have paid to increase gun power or their health bars.

and this is the reason why I play more br now, I can’t rush anyone in mp and it takes so much to finish one match
