I had to deal with a creditor that refused to provide me with a 1099-c because they said the debt itself was less than $600 because part of debt was interest butI found this in the IRS publication; Under exceptions " Interest. You are not required to report interest. However, if you choose to report interest as part of the canceled debt ". So I got them over a barrel. This video has helped me remove 7 accounts

Bridgecrest told me they couldn’t give me one until the debt was paid I said it’s a charge off which means it is paid but I will report it on my taxes without you send me the form

@@raphaelspears7080if the company sold the debt, it should show which company brought it on the credit report but this wouldnt be the letter you send that to as being they brought the debt from original furnisher, you have to get the new owners to prove its yours and did they legally obtain it until consumer law which most of the time they didnt

Great Information!!! This video IS very refreshing and to hear a man express himself without cursing at his audience and without using the N-word directed at the people that he is "teaching". I hear many people teaching on KZfaq, etc. and the unprofessionalism is staggering. WE all started at the beginning and do not want to be disrespected in any way. Some "Teachers" or "Mentor" get a feeling that they are now above the very people that they are teaching because they FEEL like they have more knowledge about a certain subject and start to become verbally disrespectful. NO ONE learning wants to hear the use of offensive language, yelling, belittling or anything pertaining to that. Thank you for your teaching style. with appreciation.

@@karlsmith2451 NO DISRESPECT. I find this to BE an odd question but okay; CURSE words are whatever YOU deem them to be. Just like if I deemed "NO DISREPECT" as curse words that is up to me AND whatever you deem curse words to be, is up to YOU. I KNOW WHAT I DO NOT LIKE. YOU KNOW WHAT YOU DO NOT LIKE. It does not matter who started it, that is a waste of time and thought. Some Words have been placed, given and said in a negative matter of phrase and cannot be changed into good words no matter what.

@@pashasaturn4645 Hey pascha ,we were taught those words, or heard them so much that most don't try to increase their vulcabulary. White students are taught différent. Our children should be taught about financial literacy, credit and how the rich keeps you poor by age 14-16 that way they will have good credit when they reach college. The problem is people buy things they don't need, keeping up with the jones, to showoff & impress those who don't like them.

💥💥💥💥 I've heard about the section 609 and the 611 but I feel like the Credit reporting agencies chew those letters up and spit out for breakfast now 😫😫 This right here is some new Ammo and I've watched this video with my pen and paper and I will be reporting back. Now I see why your program cost $3500 😱😱 But if this works which I'm very hopefull and it makes sense that it should It's definitely worth it's weight in gold!!! child support was declared unconstitional in a minasota supreme court ruling for violating the seperation of powers required by the minossta constion article three section 1 further child support agency actions are deamend unconstional for lack of proable cause ---- thats all you need send that to clerk of court in your case

Quick tip: If you have filed BK, and it has been discharged. They can NEVER send you a 1099-C anymore even if you request it because you are now covered under the Bankruptcy law for a discharged debt, provided you included it in your BK. You win in all ways. They must delete it and no 1099-C issued.

Daraine one thing I noticed when you copy/paste was that it reads the same thing you removed the from the start and pasted it on the second page where you stated the definition of key words then you paste the section from the beginning of the CB letters at the bottom of the definition and you didn’t remove it from where you copied so the same thing is repeated , I’m going to wait until you finish to see the outcome Great job btw💪💪

🚀🔥This info is incredible, just got your book off of Amazon. When do you send the round 2 letter, after the 30days investigation notice to credit agencies respond (like the 31st day)? or send all 4 of the notarized letters right away (3 notarized to credit agencies + 1 notarized to information furnishers)? Are you obligated to respond if agencies rebuttal your 1st round letter or does the 2nd round letter to furnishers override that? What if I'm moving during the back and forth rounds, do I include new address or old address and forward via POBOX from new area?

What exactly was the inaccuracy? That account was not his? That the amount was wrong? Both sample letter and the follow up letter was a lot of whining. Also when you said second round was because they responded back that account was verified . How did they verify it? Did they send any of the items that were requested in first letter? It would be nice to see the response letter back to know what to address in follow up letter.

I have a few questions, if the charge-off was reported years ago & I request the 1099-c now but didn't file when the charge off was reported as I wasn't aware how to go about it, do I get penalized? can I still send the letter to CRA? Would I need to file a tax form I think it's 8894 as it is income? Thank you.

If you have an unpaid charge-off, there are no tax implications when you file your tax return; however, this changes if you successfully negotiate a charge-off settlement for less than the full amount of your debt. If you settle your debt after a charge-off, you would be issued a 1099-C form from the creditor as long as the amount paid to the creditor or collector includes a savings off the balance of $600 or more.

Wrong you havent paid attention btw if its a un-paid charge off it wouldnt be a charge off period, the reality is if they really want there money then take me to court and get a judgement plain and simple more likely they gain when they write it off there taxes you need to re-read consumer law and like he said break down the actual meaning of words

The IRS does not say a charge off is gross income. It says a cancelled debt is gross income. Unfortunately, a charge off is not the same as a canceled debt. Chargeoffs are merely the companies determination that the debt is uncollectable but the money is still owed. Canceled debt is forgiven and therfore treated as income. Please reconsider your teaching on this point.

The IRS did not speak on that in the publication, i would use the same principles! however the IRS also said you don't need a 1099C to file the canceled debt as gross or ordinary income.

HJR-192 automatically extended the privilege to renege on debts to every person using the Federal Reserve banking system; however, never forget that when you operate on a privilege, you have to respect the ruler of the giver of that privilege. Furthermore, in the case of 124 U.S. 581, the court said: "The court will not pass upon the constitutionality of a statute at the instance of one who has availed himself of its benefits."

@Mike Jones - the Federal Government went bankrupt in 1933, they passed EO 6102 and HJR 192 (House Joint Resolution 192) and pledged us as collateral (yes, you read that right - thus why our Birth Certificates have value) to back the government debt. This law was passed to do away with the gold clause in the constitution and in all public and private contracts. A couple of things happened after this was passed and the easisest way to understand this, is - the government technically has the obligation to discharge and settle any debts we may incur in our daily lives. Yes, this includes mortgages, car loans, utilities, etc…as a result of HJR 192 … BECAUSE we are the collateral they used to cover the debt, they exercised ‘eminent domain’ and instituted the income tax to control the labor of the people. It’s also when they instituted the Birth Certificates to control the people and have the future American people become the collateral for all the federal governments debts. So the comment (I think) is making reference to that & saying to not abuse this privilege. "This privilege" being the reason WHY we as regular people can dispute debts, etc… The reference @Connor CO is making is - understandcontractlawandyouwin.com/debt-discharge-private-administrative-process/ - which is the 10 step process Mr. Delevante is explaining in this video AND the majority of consumers do not know about HJR-192.
