@@tapnpodcast need I mentioned I’m not being disrespectful but you are protecting the actors and comedians from what they are and not seeing with brother Ron saying that These folk whom wore dresses can tell folks like us that it’s comedy we did it because it’s funny nahhh that’s not and it’s even a movie about it called foolish with brother Eddie griffin showing us. My good sir respectfully majority of the world knows this is part of the business to get to the heights beyond stardom to where they’re at which is not a good place to be, because you gotta do a lot of things you don’t wanna do to make it. And what’s fucked up about it, is that these people know you losing something much more than what you came in with, is yourself and integrity. Like Katt Williams, Dave Chapelle, Richard Pryor, and Eddie griffins of the world stated some of these actors, performers, musicians will take a short cut if the opportunity presented themselves not knowing the risks and consequences that lead them to a path to be emasculated or assassinated by your own will and character all for the money and clout, then power because the devil wants people you can influence. And that under the closet sermon can start playing as well. Example The business people can spin how Tyler Perry can become Tyler Perry the mogul you see now. but they can’t spin how Tyler Perry have to do some dirty business decisions to get to where he is and evidence on live television too boot. Same with Jamie, Kevin, etc.. etc…. The list goes on. No hate to them because what they did for the culture and the memories they gave us as fans from certain tv shows and movies I know they can say they enjoy but if they told us the real truth of the matter. Hollywood gonna make them disappear.

Fam, with all due respect you have allowed you're anecdotal experience to overide the glaring truths of the intersection of black life and the malignance of oppressive psychology. Salute to you for standing on your square and and engaging the convo tho. BUT, you went 2 for 12 on quite a few points, unless the devil's advocate voice was intentional to create space for cousin Blaq's intelligence to shine. Either way, have the brother back. We needed this convo and more often!! Stay up, fam

I'm not usually against a person trying to get to the next level. Just understand, when you bring Blaq Ron on your show he's intelligent and fast on his feet. There are a lot of people wanting to be a part of the go-along-get-along gang. You just have to recognize them when you see them and allow them to do their own thing. People like Shannon Sharp and Joe Rogan understand how to have conversations and let the guest cook. A lot of hosts talk too much instead of allowing the guest to shine. If this was a debate show I would respect the format more. Here it comes across as caping for the powers that be.

You have becateful with the people you bring on, meaning you have to be able to match the intelligence of the person being interviewed in order to have a mutually respected conversation. I follow my man, his comedy, and his intellect. Shout out to botb of them, though.

If I remember correctly, Dave quit twice. Once between season 1 and 2. Once in the middle of season 2 , before he quit in season 3. I don’t remember the reasons he gave.

@tapnpodcast Sir, my comment can't be THAT dumb if it matches the consensus of the viewers in the comments. Brush up on your interviewing skills and learn to listen to your guests and stop overtaking them. It could have been a great interview, but YOU ruined it.

I ain’t gone lie bruh. host is trippin hard as hell 🤦🏾‍♂️. Bruh said Tyler Perry is not Hollywood because he’s in Atlanta. Hollywood is not just a place anymore, it’s a mindset. And he does a lot of business within Hollywood. He could do it from his home or studio in Atlanta.

Colin Kapernick for 1. Why black people don't have the same avenues white people have to complain about injustice for 2. I have worked as a nurse for 11 years. There is a reason why you don't often see black male nurses raise their voice. Go along to get along isn't just in the entertainment industry. Also, I just finished the entire podcast. I haven't changed my opinion of disappointment in your choice of words, however I respect the way you countered Blaq Ron and stood up for yourself. Tell the truth, Blaq Ron could have acknowledged when you proved him wrong and he didn't.

@@londobellace I appreciate your feedback. I believe black do have the same avenues as white ppl but we /can be/are so emotionally driven that we can receive recourse because “we gotta tear shit up in here” 2. I think there is a time and place to raise your voice and be loud. At a fast food restaurant and at work is not one of them. And thank you for acknowledging Blaq Ron was wrong!
@londobellace

@@tapnpodcast I acknowledge Blaq Ron was incorrect on some of his points. I also acknowledge that white people try to weaponize the human experience and have convinced damn near everyone only certain people have the right to express themselves. I'm sure you know this, but the way you came across can be easily be used by bad faith actors that will claim your words "make you one the good ones." Be you, but acknowledge other points of view with more than lip service.

Also I wanna add Brev tried to argue brother ron down about what when went on against Dave Chapelle when Dave literally when on Oprah and told the whole world about the same sentiment as we talking about for 30 plus years till this day my guy on putting on the dress. They also talked about the main thing which was the 50 million Comedy Central was speaking on though on national television you could visually see Oprah look shocked and stunned and even uncomfortable when he exposed the business because he was saying something that was true. That all happened in 2006 and was the top story in news and gossip. E was even popping back then and I’m 22 years old and I knew at the time when I was 5 going into 6 dawg. They literally on national television assassinated his career because he rebelled against them because how powerful he was. Tyler Perry yes came up with wearing the dress when he didn’t have any money and was homeless and so Hollywood made him use that idea for almost everything he came up with differently. And this isn’t even with comedians that they put dresses on its rappers, actors, athletes, musicians … list goes on and for that black brother to sit there and think that the business is just mishap from the people when in all reality that many of folk tell you that these people all work for a higher power that doesn’t work for you which is devil my man you been living under a rock for a minute. I really appreciate blaq Ron need broly on more podcasts

@TapNPodcast host just wanted to argue. At no point did he make a good point. To start this conversation, he tried to claim it's not genius to pretend to play dumb as Blaq Ron said some comedians play a role as. This guy proves his point that it's not an act because he's actually is that stupid. You have to be pretty dumb to argue an entertainer who can act, sing and actively is a stand-up comic. Blaq Ron is well read and studies trends and people in order to reach them. This Tap'N guy just reads a show sheet.

You know what's sad about lawyers is that they'll take a certain amount to buy off and sell out their client as well it happened to my mom with Hewlett-Packard that lawyer disappeared and she got screwed lost her house trying to fight them they deported the witness cook back to Mexico and the lawyer relocated out of town. My mom and 4 other black people all had over 10 years seniority. Hewlett-Packard was offering early retirement to save cost they offered it to all the black people they refused it and then they found ways to fire them and had a defamation lawsuit against them for over 100 million. Hewlett-Packard paid all the lawyers a couple million apiece and the lawyers bounced out on all four clients and they all lost their homes trying to fight the case cuz they were dragging it out
