Ironman mode isnt what the game was designed for but neither was the grand exchange buying everything, it was originally made for a mix of the two, gathering stuff yourself mixxed with buying stuff that annoys you. Back in the day it was even more casual cause you could simply chop some wood and make some meaningful progress for trades and such

@@Smp_lifting Ironman excels in taking the content that exists and giving you a reason to do it all - sure some grinds are super long but you can do a variety of grinds that mostly arent actually practical to do on main which keeps it being super fresh. PvM covers basically everything not just whats most profitable, lots of random activities and junk are super worth doing suddenly. It stretches out the game by making you take advantage of the vast swathes of unused content in the game, not by simply making everything slower. Some newer bosses do fumble it by being too low rates to benefit GE-scape but its really a small issue in the scheme of things since theres reasonable alternative solutions to most if not all of what it provides - theres no need to fully gear max

@@purge2202 honestly yeah that’s an interesting take. We couldn’t just buy the obscure quest items from the GE - we had to either figure out how to get it ourselves or work out a deal with someone else who knew how to get it. This seems like the best of both world

@@hi28If you don’t start the game with f2p, membership may be a bit overwhelming. I’d recommend finishing all of the f2p quests before considering membership.

@@hi28there’s so much to do as a p2p that you can get lost at first. There’s millions of guides that can help you play to your style though.

For me getting to certain level targets is fun so I tend to slave away at a skill for a day or 2 to reach the topic then switch to something else I want to train and then slave at that for a day or 2 and rinse and repeat.

@@Naaadez a bond is something you can purchase with real money, there will be a symbol on your minimap or you can go to the bond store. Once you have one you can sell to the grand exchange for in game money

I'm so trash at pvm but managed to get my quest cape around 93 cb I think. Some of the bosses took a bunch of attempts but I learned a lot and honestly you will too! You got this man!

Look up osrs jad simulator, there's one with osrs graphics, if you can flick it there for 5-10 mins, the actual jad becomes insanely easy. I always struggled until I found it.

This is why I love the OSRS community. Thank you guys for the support. And I had no clue about the Jad sim, I gotta give that a go. All four of my attempts I died when trying to flick jad

@@TX_b Let us know how it goes! If you can flick in the simulator for 5+ mins without fail you've got Jad in the bag I reckon. I did it first try after practising there, even with tagging healers and eating food between flicks.
