Me and my boyfriend are going to Florida for the first time September 2022. It’s been pushed back since last year aswell. We’ve watched every one of your Disney related videos to try and prepare us! We should of gone back this year but have decided it won’t be until April 2024 due to other commitments and the boys leaving their respective Primary and Secondary schools. I cannot wait!!! Really seems like you’ve got your mojo back, it’s so good to see you happy! My husband and I are hopefully going to WDW in January and the news we can now travel to the US has made me so excited. I think Disney Dining is 2 months in advance- if you sign into My experience it tells you the date you can book up to. I would love to see a budgeting spreadsheet!! I need to go to Home Bargins now!

I’d love a video on budgeting for your next Disney trip

You will still need to use a cleaner on the artificial grass post dog use just to stop excessive smells.Real grass is always better for animals but of course it needs to be maintained but if you don't have time it would be one more chore.

I’ve started a new job which I’ve always wanted to do it’s so different to what I’ve been doing in the past but my old Jon was getting me so down to the point I was crying everyday as I hated it so much but now I feel like a weight has been lifted off me with my new job I feel like I’m back to my happy self again I’m now a solicitors receptionist which I can progress in which I wanted to do but car sales was a dead end Job so I’m happy with life now and I’m glad to see you so happy to brogan xx

Loved the chatty video! We’re also going to WDW in May 2022 and I am honestly so happy with all the changes. We’re DVC owners and go pretty frequently and I started to dread how scheduled it became. The new changes will bring back some spontaneity to Disney days. I’ll miss Magical Express though! I’d love to watch your trip planning & budgeting videos. I really enjoy your content and all things Disney / universal! Also, sorry to hear about the negativity you’ve received about your decision regarding artificial turf. We live in California where summers get really hot (it was a cool 97 today, lol) and we (and our animals) love our artificial turf. You have to do what’s best for your household. Cheers!

We are traveling home from Disney today and this trip was totally different than our last trip in 2019. We stayed at the Boardwalk which we had never done. The access to be able to walk to Epcot and take the skyline to Hollywood Studios was worth the cost. We also saw happily ever after fireworks from our balcony. The dining system was a challenge for me- we like the quick service but now you have to mobile order and select a pickup time to arrive at the restaurant. Some restaurants didn’t have pickup times until much later in the day. We also noticed a shortage in Disney buses so they had contracted out other buses to transport guests back to the hotel. But the most noticeable was no fast passes. What we noticed was the wait times were actually much less than what was posted. The most we waited was about 30 mins in a line even though it was posted for 50 mins. The saddest change for me was that character interactions were now from a distance- I so loved taking pics with all the characters. Even though it was a different experience it was still a magic filled vacation and I can’t wait to start planning my next trip!

The circle is filmed in Salford. My sister lives in the flats opposite on the same site, she knows when they're filming as they constantly have security and passes to get in and out of the complex 😂 Loving the vlog! I’m glad that Disney Genie & Genie+ gets launched about 6 months before we go (as we go in May as well) so that we get to hear from the US vloggers what they think about it & how they get on with it. Would love to see a budgeting video 😍. Also 100% recommend eating off property at Disney. I watched a few vlogs before we went in 2019 that recommended steak and shake. It’s amazing and super affordable which would help with the costs if you don’t get a dining plan.

Enjoyed the vlog. I have been a subscriber of Joel and Lia's for a few years (before they had their separate channels), and started following you after seeing your chat with Lia. I went to Disney World last year for 7 days to celebrate my birthday. Luckily I was born at the beginning of the year, so it was prepandemic. I had never been to Animal Kingdom or Hollywood Studios before and had only been to Epcot on a 2 day trip with my sister 25 years ago (which was the last time I had been to any of the parks). I had, however, been to the Magic Kingdom a number of times as we lived in Florida until I was about 8. The 1st time being the 2nd day it was open. Back then you bought ticket books and could only go on certain rides. I remember once when my uncle was visiting he, my dad, and brother went on the 2000 Leagues Under the Sea ride which no longer exists, but my mom, sister, and I couldn't because there were only 3 ticket. We got the tickets for Dumbo instead. That was also the first time my sister was tall enough to ride Space Mountain. She screamed at the top of her lungs the entire ride and when it was over she asked to go again. Of course we couldn't because tickets.

Honestly... I'm not doing that well. I live in Melbourne, Australia and we have officially been locked down the longest in the entire world, we are currently on day 236.... I'm only allowed to leave my house to go to work and shop for essentials/medical etc. Seeing the rest of the world get back to a "normal" is so hard, I feel so stuck and just want to live my normal life again

Live this blog! May go get a subway salad 🥗 we have had artificial grass top notch stuff and we have four dogs! They have been fine on it! We enquired about the heat etc on the paws but what we have is fine also our dogs go into the shade anyhow also it never felt hot and I could sit on it. It’s been the best thing for us because come winter it became a mud bath with the dogs churning it all up. Yes artificial grass manufacturing has evolved over the years and much better x

I think we have every right to judge the Disney changes because so many of the changes are going to cost us so much more and will make people’s experiences less enjoyable I think. Hiring a car is so much fun though, adds so much to the experience!

Yes please, I'd love to see a vlog on your budgeting for WDW 2022. We've booked for next year in October but our Australian borders aren't even open yet. We're not open to any other country at all 😢. Really wanting to rejoin the rest of the world. I agree, the Disney changes are unsettling. Chapek has taken extra magic hours (30 minutes is nothing) unless you can afford to stay deluxe, Magical Express, fast passes (having to pay $15 USD per day just for genie plus then $15 per "popular" rides, normal annual price increase plus the increases for rooms on top (just because they can), no free dining at present, increase in park entry prices, no park hoping the way we knew it, no ability for much spontaneity anymore (have to have a park reservation and at present, can only book so many days (I think it's something like 5) so too bad if you've paid for a 14 day park pass but can only use 7 because you've been blocked out *ugghhh* I could go on and on. They're really sucking the magic out of Disney. We're not spending our entire holiday on Disney property this time - it just doesn't seem worth it and we can have a longer holiday staying more of it off property. I'm pretty sure you'll get there in May. Thanks for the updates.

The changes to Disney have really peed me off. It’s definitely becoming a money grabbing opportunity rather than a family holiday. The Genie+ thing will add SO MUCH money onto an already very expensive trip for a family. The EMH also discriminates with the deluxe guests receiving preferential treatment. I loved staying at Magic Kingdom til the early hours but there’s no way I could ever afford or justify a stay at a deluxe resort. It has lost of the magic it used to have and I’m really sad about it 💔 You’re right though. You can’t really judge until you’re there and you experience these changes first hand. ALSO NO MAGIC EXPRESS. That’s going to add a fair bit onto your trip too. At least US Ubers etc are cheaper than those in the uk. Much love, love your vlogs as always x

Brogan I am very much like you I have a spreadsheet with what we want to do each day at Disney. I will see what Genie offers me when we go but will probably stick to my plan. I am going in early January 2022 and now that the border is open the planning has been put back into action.
