You could also use 'Cardboard' or the cheaper Big Box Landscape paper to cover those beds. And then use this time to do the rearranging you want to do to your garden.

I've covered some beds with plastic. The thing with covering them is that you need to make sure it doesn't blow away 😅

My first year of planting it and did everything wrong, planted to late and kept it in a shaded area, it now shooting up, am in Toronto zone 6, lesson learned, thanks

Awesome pepper harvest. Our gardens have a way of growing out of control 😂. I tried to put all of my vining plants on trellises this year to help the process. I hate that your algorithms are affected when you share your cooking videos, because I enjoy watching them. ❤❤❤❤❤

I believe the peppers that you said had a cool shape are from the Mad Hatters seeds that I sent you along with seeds for Ajicito peppers as a thank you for sending me Painted Pony seeds. I’m assuming the pepper got its name from the shape as it does look like a little hat.

@@faithfamilyhomestead I usually eat them green in my breakfast potatoes. I love mixing different peppers with onions and cubed potatoes and season them with a ton of different herbs like rosemary, thyme, oregano, basil and garlic and top with shredded cheese. I usually pre-cook the cubed potatoes in a bowl in the microwave for 5 minutes while the peppers and onions are sautéed in a pan with olive oil, then add the potatoes and herbs for the next few minutes and top them with shredded cheese.

I chop and dehydrate tomatoes, peppers, and onions so they dont take my freezer space❤

@@faithfamilyhomestead Cucumbers. Tomatoes & peppers , blend to powder & I mix in salad dressings. Tomatoes to make pasta sauce pizza sauce & thicken sauces, soups & chili. Peppers and onions I rehydrate and use as you would fresh. I dehydrate grated zucchini to make zucchini fritters.

I was wondering, why do you harvest your peppers when they're green and not completely ripe? Why not just grow green peppers? The flavor of the pepper isn't going to be there because it's not being harvested when it's ripe so why not just grow all green peppers like bells?

I do let some turn, but some I've left to turn end up getting eaten, so I'd rather green peppers than no peppers... also, Bells take a long time to grow when other smaller peppers are ready for harvest faster
