I asked you all via instagram to Ask me stuff! And you did just that!
I got a couple hundred questions (gosh!) but i smooshed them all down and combined most of them into a pile. I rush over a couple of questions to keep the video at a manageable length - but please, feel free to ask more about my art practice/life in the comments below and I'll do my best to answer them for you :)
Listening back, I wish I had planned some of my answers, there's a lot I skipped over or forgot to say entirely. Oh well! Maybe I'll do another one again another time!

Loved watching this beautiful painting come to life and learning more about you - I never would have expected you worked in the animation industry! It was especially heart warming to hear about how passionate you are about creating!

Wow that flew by! I popped your video on as I was started to paint a pet portrait for a friend. I was feeling nervous about the painting but once I got going it started to flow - think you vibe was seeping through and calming me ;) Thanks for sharing xx

This was great to sit back and draw with! At one point you mentioned that mixing water and gouache doesn't work well, why is that? (asking as someone who loves a loose gouache)

Aww thank you!!! I think I was talking about how if you use spray fixative on top of a finished gouache piece it will re-activate the gouache and go all drippy and funny, and that's a bad idea. So, water reactivates gouache and so would the spray on fixative. (someone asked if they could use spray on fixative on gouache) I didn't mean to imply that mixing water with gouache was bad! Oopsies!!! I use water and gouache all the time! :) it's good haha!
