If someone comes to me and says is homosexuality or transgender wrong, am I going to say “the Bible says it is wrong”. Or am I going to say “yes it’s wrong because the Bible says it’s wrong”. The first answer preserves my reputation with them. The second one makes it clear that I stand with and for God. Are both responses acceptable? I’d say yes. But one takes a much clearer and stronger stance FOR God than the other.

I can agree with the sentimentality of Mike Todd but not the approach. We still have a standard and Disney isn't it. There is a line that we shouldn't cross and the lost don't need a version of the World to spread the Gospel. Also any woman wearing leggings on a Worship Team shouldn't be on a Worship Team this only points to a bigger problem especially with leaders. Lastly a very problematic statement that he said during Easter is that they would get as close to the line to sinning without sinning. We should be trying to get further from that line. So I'll just have to disagree here 🙏

Jesus was criticized similarly for fellow-shipping with the likes of sinners and tax collectors. Thank God Jesus was willing to walk right up to that line, and without crossing the line, He reached across and Pulled those sinners and tax collectors out of their sin and into the Kingdom. Thank God He pulled the likes of ALL of us sinners from sin into the Kingdom. But He had to come close to us and our sin to do that. He meets us where we are, and then we get to choose to Follow Him. How does a pastor save souls if he's too afraid of offending modern day pharisees to even reach those in need of salvation... See Mark 2:17

I missed the week with the trans comment and I want to go back and watch it. Here's my issue. I've been trying to find a church near me, but they pretty much all have rainbow flags out front. The problem I have is there's no murder flag welcoming murderers or theft flags welcoming thieves. We are all sinners. We can't exclude sinners from church because we are all sinners, but we can't pick and choose either. What I've been seeing in some churches is a celebration of certain sin, instead of an acceptance with gentle pulling away from sin into righteousness. I want to find a church that simply says: All sinners are welcome. But we won't celebrate your sin. We will help you work through it as you grow closer to God. . And I know that the churches and church programs that help people turn away from these things and away from homosexuality are especially targeted. But doesn't that mean that we've pushed the devil's buttons on that issue? Doesn't that mean we're on to something and we should lean in?

What ppl fail to realize is the church doesn’t have perfect ppl, PERIOD! You don’t see an infidelity flag, a incest flag, a gossip flag, a hate flag flying outside any church; and the list goes on. However, these transgressions are in the church secretly and openly. We, the church, who are called by His name need to stop playing church, acting religious, and putting on a mask. Stop ostracizing and judging ppl. Allow Jesus’ light to shine in our character by embracing everyone, Jesus did. Moreover, we shouldn’t rank nor condone sin, but lead these individuals out of darkness with Jesus’ direction. The countdown to his return is near: the harvest is ripe, but the and labourers are few.

Went back and watched it. It was a great message. The "trans" part was miniscule and taken way out of context. He could have just as easily said: I don't know why we can't eat unlimited ice cream, but God decided about gluttony... I'd rather we all be able to eat Haagen Daz all day every day, but it's not what God said. He was just speaking to the feelings that come from the flesh vs God's instructions. He was making it clear that in the Kingdom, we have to set aside the desires of the flesh and follow God's instructions.

This is why it's important to Read, Study and meditate the Bible in context for yourself, as scripture says and to be like the Bereans that would check and research the scriptures any time a person taught. The Holy Spirit's role is to teach, guide, and lead us in the scriptures and life. Listen to the Holy Spirit. I didn't hear this pastor mention the Holy Spirit. As a creative, its still important to pray and seek the Holy Spirit's guidance and wisdom on an idea to share a gospel message in a creative format to reach the lost. A Good idea isn't always a GOD idea. 💡

Anyone saying the Holy Spirit told them to use profanity should not be a leader in the church. It's sad because the bar is set so low that some will follow anyone with charisma. Listen to what they are actually saying. And no, I'm not saying they'll be perfect. I hear what Mike is saying and personally I have so many questions in my head! Firstly the generation He is trying to reach through cultural standards would be really bored by the real Jesus! They only come because of the attraction that His Church is making, stimulated but not repentant! Hypersensitive but no holiness. Emotionally manipulated but not striving to be like Christ! I wish the charismatics would stop arguing that people who call them out are “traditional and religious’ ! It will sure feel traditional and religious when people call pastors like Mike Todd to the standard of Christ! It will sure feel traditional and religious when people require holiness from Him! I am a young person and I am less impressed about gimmicks and worldly creatives in the church, give me living water so that I never thirst again! I wish Joni and the Team would validate him in his calling and tell him the truth that he doesn’t have to do all of this worldly nonsense! The church needs to be set apart from the world! We have enough secular music, we don’t need nobody recreating that into hymns! Lastly, with the spitting, He is not Jesus! He should know better that scripture has descriptive verses and prescriptive verses! What Jesus did was descriptive not prescriptive! (bibles school basics) & no , stop assuming that Jesus would be hated if he was here, He was the creative and not worldly Rabbi! What we are seeing in Transformation is nothing like him! Young people need Jesus, the true Jesus, not this fakeness that we are seeing! With Love, Mike Todd, needs true people who he is accountable to, who will test and teach him sound doctrine! He really did well with the relationships series, go back to the simple stuff! ”You have wearied the Lord with your words. “How have we wearied him?” you ask. You have wearied him by saying that all who do evil are good in the Lord’s sight, and he is pleased with them. You have wearied him by asking, “Where is the God of justice?”“ ‭‭Malachi‬ ‭2‬:‭17‬ ‭ This is not religion, this is love! Correction! Repent Sir!

"Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is-his good, pleasing and perfect will." Romans 12:2 I used to like Todd, but lately, he has done and said things that do not line up with the word of God. We can not continue to believe what someone does or says to make themselves relevant if it goes against sound doctrine. God gives us wisdom and discernment. For example: - If you are saying that you wish there should be a third option with regards to Males and females that's questionable. If you have an Easter play that highlights darkness rather than light, it is questionable. We are called to test the spirits - so stop making people who do wrong feel good for what they're doing.

@kevaughncampbell7776 , he knows the Bible speaks against homosexuality. He knows what to think about homosexuality; he actually said it, "Our opinions don't matter, God's word is the final authority." We wrestle in the spirit with this concept because it may be close to us (this applies to any sin). What helps us overcome our opinions is our ever growing relationship with God through Jesus regardless of how we feel. That's where he is, and to be honest, that's where most of us are (pick a sin or a struggle) in our walk with Jesus.

@@deborahhollis7653, bringing people to Jesus is the first step to them following Him. Once they believe, then they must commit. Part of committing is developing a personal relationship with Him through the word. The word of God displays His character and teaches wisdom, love, etc. It IS living, fit for instruction and changes the hearts and intents of "man". My question is, how is he not following Jesus? Pastors, just like preachers/ministers (which we all are called to be), make mistakes along the journey. Does a mistake disqualify you in ministering the gospel of Jesus to others? The key is to learn from our mistakes quickly, and do better in our commitment to following Jesus. I don't always agree with his approach, but I can't condemn or judge him for that. The proof is in the results. Satan ain't pointing NOBODY to Jesus, and telling them to get to know Him for themselves through the word of God.

Already @ 1:47 Rachel Lamb Brown says "I know his heart?!!!" WHAAAAAT?!! Are you God? But then the Holy Spirit uses Joni Lamb to rebuke her and she immediately says: "God is the only one that could look at our heart and knows what's going on!" Did anybody else peep that? Just me? Ok. Jeremiah 17:9-10 The heart is hopelessly dark and deceitful, a puzzle that NO ONE can figure out. BUT I, GOD, search the heart and examine the mind. I get to the heart of the human. I get to the root of things. I treat them as they really are, not as they pretend to be.

What most churches fail to understand is doing what Jesus did v.s hearing from him first for direction. The latter is the priority. If the acts Pastor Todd did, did not glorify God then he needs to reevaluate. Too many times too often we still depend on self (and justify it with scripture) instead of elevating to place where ppl can see Jesus and not man. Leaders need to move past a manufactured presence of God and tap into his divine power to exercise the “greater works that we have nvr seen”, John 14:12. God doesn’t want sacrifice; he wants obedience. I fail to see God in this performance. 🤷🏻‍♀️🫤

I hate that he feels he must do some of his acts to win ppl to Christ. The gospel alone should be powerful enough to convit ppl. Hes got enough fire in his preaching that he can preach the gospel and ppl not go to sleep. I feel he's to worldly. His Easter play really turned me off. He might be for some but hes not for me. There is something fundamentally wrong with saying that he’s not after the saved people on Easter. What are we supposed to do on Easter Sunday, go look for the Easter bunny in our pretty clothes? If you have to offend the saved people in order to entertain the lost people with an ungodly production, then there’s something wrong with that approach. Church should be a place where people come together United in the love of Christ, not a place of segregation.
@briahenderson5805
@briahenderson5805 6 ай бұрын
I think we can lean into Jesus’ words for this answer. Doctors don’t come to heal healthy, well people. They come to heal sick people. We shouldn’t become worldly in trying to REACH the world, but it’s important for those in the Church to know that the entertainment we born-again, everyday churchgoers crave from church Easter isn’t what Church is about! Easter is about reaching the people who only come once a year on Easter to save their literal souls. It’s not for those who are saved, if that makes sense
@elvanagoeckeler5281
@elvanagoeckeler5281 6 ай бұрын
@@briahenderson5805 I’m not sure what you mean by craving entertainment on Easter, because we don’t go to church to be entertained, but rather to worship the Lord and celebrate His resurrection. The picture that comes to my mind is that of Lord Jesus, turning over the tables of the money changers in God‘s house. That leads me to believe that He expects us to uphold a certain standard in God‘s house. I really don’t believe that lowering the standard in order to make the gospel message more appealing is the way to go. Yes, we want people to be saved, but we have this tendency to believe that it’s all about numbers. True salvation does not mean going to church once a year on Easter because there is a fun show to watch and then living the rest of the year anyway you want to. The Lord is looking for true followers that are willing to turn their life around and live for Him every day because of what He did for us. I think the strongest testimony we can offer to unbelievers is our own example of living every day life, Easter or any regular weekday for the Lord, without compromising anything.

Who do you agree with? Do the people attending that Easter pageant need a savior or do they all need to perfectly follow the Law? Pastor Todd is leading people to the Savior Jesus Christ. Then God will do a work in them. You want the gospel, like Pharisees wanted the Law. But people needed parables/stories to be led to salvation. Mike Todd paid great homage and highest regard to Bishop Carlton Pearson whom he credits with impacting him profoundly in ministry and in fact, Mike Todd even wore this preacher of unrighteousness’ shirt??? Pearson defied and contradicted that Jesus is theONLY way to heaven, he stated that NO-ONE will be sent to hell, he mocked and portrait God the Father as if He were an angry, sadistic being and ultimately , that even satan himself could be saved. This is very disturbing and quite telling. Daystar, please do your due diligence for the love of God and the many unsuspecting sheep that are being led away by such people. Before I say anything else, I will watch all the videos. Should be saying God brought a "x" amount of people to him because only the Holy Spirit can soften the hearts of man. I will be praying for truth 🙏. I believe the doors should be open for everyone but we have a responsibility to preach against sin, all sin. When we don't preach sin it's not the gospel message. What I have seen with my own eyes, in the same spirit filled church was that sinful people, I'll say it this way, would get angry and get up and leave. Yes God meets people where they are but the must repent and turn from sin. All of us have that responsibility. We need to be right with God.

God help us. 😢 Hosea4:6 Don't be deceived. This is grievous on so many levels. Charles Spurgeon said "A time will come when instead of Shepherds feeding the sheep, the church will have clowns entertaining the goats." 🤔

That Easter performance was bizarre and borderline blasphemous. The best response is to admit that he was wrong and and state that he will never do something like that again. I hope that's what he covered in this video.

This pastor is enthusiastic, truly has a heart to lead people to Christ. He is authentic and artistic in the manner in which he does this. And he is not wrong the church needs to find new ways to reach the youth. However, there are limits. We also need to ensure the gospel message is clearly heard, people understand what constitutes sin and the need to repent. I would suggest this pastor needs a mentor to run his ideas by before he delivers to ensure they are well executed and deliver the message he intends to deliver.

I am new to christ, and i was saved by watching Mike Todd. I have been to many churches, and the pastors have done sinful things... i left the church because of that. Eddie long, bishop jakes, small and large chuches. Dollar church in atlanta. I've been to them all. But what i like about Mike Todd is that it uses the parable methodology way of teaching. You have to know his history to his way into the gospel to understand his method of teaching. He breaks down the scripture in a visual way. I am a visual learner. I can read all day and will sometimes not get it. When i am shown, i learn better. Now, he may still be a baby pastor. He hasn't been at it that long. As long as some others. BUT he is winning souls. I had a bible and rarley touched it until i started to listen to Mike Todd. He said it's the ORDER of God. And to be in order, you must FIRST have a relationship and intimacy with God. BEFORE anything else. Now, if you're more mature in christ, then he isn't your leader. But it's not of God to condemn him because he's not to your standards or way of teachings. As he has led so many to christ. I stayed away from christians because they had this im better than you, and i know god so deep attitude and very judgemental as i am seeing in these comments. Which pushes sinners away from the church cause who wants to be around snoody and clearly cellophane people of God. That uses scripture to justify judgmental comments of people. I say all that to say. If it's not for you, move on. Bite your tongue and find a leader that best suits your level of holiness!

As somebody who not only attended this church in person, but served in it and never met the pastor, that says a lot about the church. He’s a celebrity who is a charmer and a motivational speaker. Off the cameras, this man will walk right past you without a smile or even eye contact if you’re not a part of his circle. I don’t expect perfection from anyone but at least be real, like you claim to be on the screens, Mike Todd.

1 Corinthians 5 9I wrote to you in my epistle not to keep company with sexually immoral people. 10Yet I certainly did not mean with the sexually immoral people of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or idolaters, since then you would need to go out of the world. 11But now I have written to you not to keep company with anyone named a brother, who is sexually immoral, or covetous, or an idolater, or a reviler, or a drunkard, or an extortioner-not even to eat with such a person. 12For what have I to do with judging those also who are outside? Do you not judge those who are inside? 13But those who are outside God judges. Therefore “put away from yourselves the evil person.”

I used to attend Jamal Byant, and I fell into the style of thinking I could be a preacher. 'Charismatically' the verbiage, connecting of the words, grabing your attention and keeping it. I thought of doing a ministry, a ministry that focus on Christ and His word, until I realized I needed Christ and His word. No longer continuing, because it is better to be absent in the sight of men, and alone with Christ, than in the sight of men and far from Him. In my opinion . It;s one thing to be a Pastor of a church, it's another thing to be charismatic teacher of your own ministry, anyone can do the latter. Only by The Holy Spirit can you do the Primary, and if you can't, then Give it to God and let Him lead you & the flock that followed you ..... Because the amount of Jewlery, money & suits the world ( or ministry ) gives you, can't take any of us a step closer to Christ. The love of God is priceless

In John 9, Jesus spits on the ground and makes clay to put in a blind man's eyes. But, in Mark 7 and Mark 8, we see Jesus spit but apply it differently than in John 9. In both of those accounts, Jesus removed the person from the crowd and town before spitting directly on his eyes (the blind man) and spitting and touching his tongue (death/speech impediment man). This preacher did it in public with many people viewing and that caused a major backlash. It is important to keep scripture in context or you will "CON" the people out of the text. Study the word of God for yourselves people (II Timothy 2:15). It helps us to avoid the "spirit of error" (I John 4:6) and enables us to spot it when we see it. Blessings!

I really enjoyed Mike Todd on Day star… I can hear his heart for the work of God and calling on his life…. He truly is gifted and the world needs to accept that he has a gift to show what the scripture is trying to say. I back you brother 350%……. He gave a good example of Jesus speaking in parables… so true…. My advise brother is to continue what you’re doing …. Many people especially in the church are there to pull others down especially when they are not doing anything for God…. You keep going and if people don’t like what you’re saying, they should go watch something else…….i know God has given you a gift through creativity beyond peoples’s imagination , use it … we love you from London Uk and Africa♥️

This man is very clear with what he preaches WHILE he is preaching. He explained himself and the effect of what he did with the spit DURING the sermon, he explained himself in the message about the your opinions not mattering when it comes to the word of God. It's y'all in these comments that are the ones choosing to not hear God through him. Y'all better watch your mouth and ask God to reveal HIS heart to you. Just like he said, if Jesus was doing what he did back then today, y'all would HATE him. Get to know the real Jesus y'all. These comments are ridiculous.

You are right, Joni. God knows our heart. Most of the time, we deceive ourselves by thinking that what we think we know what's in our hearts is in line with what God sees in our hearts. Remember, God said what we think is not what He thinks. Please repent, you and your girls and your friends who can not discetn that you are misleading them and the world. Consequences are high Joni. Repent before it's too late. And stop saying people are judging. To judge someone is to say "you are evel". It is very different from rebuke that says, " What you are doing is evil." We are rebuking you, Joni. We are not judging you.

If Jesus was alive today, he would not be a movie Director. He would actually travel from place to place to place out in the wilderness and the world not in the building so that there is no capacity limit and he would tell parables you all are not doing that, the disciples were even going from place to place and telling the story. Never once has Jesus use mainstream things to tell a story essentially he’s not picking out no secular songs to tell a story..

I usually appreciate Daystar. This is the most upsetting show of theirs as well as with table talk with Joni *as much as your daughter might appreciate, and has been led by his teaching. He’s done too many unethical and disturbing things, That does NOT Show REVERENCE to Our Holy God HOW are you Missing this We DON’T NEED ENTERTAINMENT in the CHURCH We ONLY NEED THE HOLY WORD Please do not support and defend what this man is doing wrong. It is irreverent. I have the same Holy Spirit leading me and I know what’s wrong when it’s wrong and this is not about being critical but we have to call it as it is! I challenge you, Daystar Would you please bring this, before a respected pastor, such as Jack Hibbs, and ask his personal opinion based on Biblical Teaching after viewing a few of these controversial messages

So -- I haven't seen the Easter production; I've only heard about it. Having said that, Mike Todd just said (in this video) that when Jesus told his stories/parables, He would use things that were happening in that day and were "current" to that culture. I agree with Pastor Todd -- that is true. However -- even though Jesus used things in His stories/parables that fit "that day" -- as best I can recall, I don't remember Christ using ANYTHING that was: "lewd, degrading, illicit, or immoral". So, since Mike Todd is comparing what he did to what Christ had and would have done, Mike Todd has set a "standard" by which we can COMPARE him too! So -- NOW, the question is: By the standard in which Mike Todd (himself) has set, did the Easter play he put on, was it: "lewd, degrading, illicit, or immoral"?? And if so, WHERE and/or WHAT story -- in the BIBLE -- did Jesus use that also contained these SAME elements?? In other words, what story or parable did Jesus (Himself) tell that by that day and today's standard would be construed or considered as either: "lewd, degrading, illicit, and/or immoral"?? Remember, there was and would have been "lewd, illicit, and immoral" behavior in that day! The question is: Did Jesus (Himself) use ANY OF IT to convey his messages or any of His stories or parables that He told?? Here's the deal: If we can't FIND or produce a story or parable that Jesus TOLD, where he used "lewdness, degrading, "illicit" and/or "immoral" behaviors in HIS stories, then Pastor Mike Todd CANNOT justify what he did based on the scriptures! I just ran through and read all the parables and stories that Jesus told that I could find -- and guess what?? Not ONE OF THEM contained ANYTHING that was: "lewd, degrading, illicit, or immoral"....🤷‍♀🤷‍♀ Can anybody show where Jesus told a story or a parable that contained: "lewd, illicit, degrading, or immoral" behaviors??
