I just installed Carolina metal Masters grab handles, both front and rear. I'd say they are the best in the market. Sure they are a little pricey but you get so much more functionality with them as well. @jkgearGadgets you forgot to mention that you can use those holes in the grab handles to actually mount other accessories too, like mirrors, iPad ram mounts (in the rear, cause you wanna keep your eye on the road while driving ;)) etc ...

I have a lifted JK on 37s so I bought some Rough Country steel grab handles for front and back of my Jeep and I absolutely love them. My wife is much shorter than me really appreciates the addition. Lol

My “grabbies” are from Surprise Straps. They are made by a guy in Arizona who hand makes them to the type & color you want & they are made from paracord material. I love them, one of the best things I put on my Jeep.

I also run both the velcro straps (Mastercraft) and the GraBars. My Jeep came with the velcro, and I like to hold on to it, with my left hand, while driving. The GraBars, I installed, because I was constantly grabbing the steering wheel, to pull myself up into the Jeep w/ 4.5" of total lift. I have the 'stock' Jeep logo'd velcro handles installed for the rear passengers, as well. Some people give me a hard time about 'so many handles' but whatever...

I took delivery of my 2016 JK 75th Anniversary Edition on June 16th, 2016. As soon as I got home I jumped out and installed my very first mod, and it was the Carolina Metal Masters black anodized billet grab handles(like the ones you showed except black). I had ordered and received them a month before I got my JK. They looked great, and I was proud to put a quality American made product in my ride. I make use of them every day, and they really help the 'Better Half' getting in and out. The only issue I have had with them is that they get really hot in the summer down here in South Florida. I've seen recommendations for a para-cord wrap but have not explored it yet.

I bought a set of the Wild Boar grab bars. They are really sturdy but they look like they were painted by a 5 year old on a Friday afternoon. Still, nothing I cannot fix with some spray paint and as long as the holes are drilled in the right places I cannot complain about the price. They were only like 20 bucks. If you get them just expect to need to paint them.

Everytime I get in a Jeep with out grab bars I am reminded just how much I enjoy mine and how much easier it makes getting in.

Went with a GraBar knockoff. $100 plus vs $25.00 for a bent piece of metal ....... not a hard choice. Install can be a little tricky but doable. The wife (height challenged) really appreciated it.

Great vid,im running tbe wild boar grab handles on my 18 .i dont recall what i paid for them but they were close to.$100.on my 08 i had the Chinese knock off for about $35 and i will tell u what.i was very happy with them.i like.those foldable o es ,but will they really stay up.Carolina metal masters.price are insane

Running stock grab handles for now, but looking at GPCA, also running CMM front and rear grab bars, with their mirrors that attach to the grab bars when the doors are off.

I have a set of the Velcro ones right now and the sun literally right at the fabric away and the driver side just fell off. Looks like I'll be getting myself a pair of Grab bars.

100 bucks for a bent piece of metal... Someones pretty proud. Also if you happen to forget to put your belt on i foresee a large dent in your skull if your lucky with the ones mounted close to the windshield. as always great vid keep em coming. Thanks

Velcro handles: know this the stitching will eventually break. Never use to help get in your vehicle.

I was running the Velcro style grab handles on my LJ but mine ripped after a couple years. I am looking for something new that will last a little longer.

Why does not anyone, and I have watch four offerings of this say,... you can store for quick use a hand gun pistol magazine? Really,... ? It helped sell me on them. That said the post mounted bar by wild bore and the Grip Pro are the top of the line Idea in my book. But that's just me. We do what we do. Also the G/P comes with a cover on the handle. Note: 2021.

I got the GPCAs and love them but I wish the handle was a little beefier. It feels kinda awkward to hold and the covering they provide isn't very comfortable. Considering buying some foam or some padding to wrap the handles. Any advice?

*** Look after looking at the factory grab handles on the JL Wranglers I can't help but wonder why someone hasn't made a nylon handle that screws into the front pillars. You see, if I'm going to hit my head into a grab handle in a wreak, i'd much rather hit a Nylon handle than a solid steel grab handle.
