Beautiful gel Mani! I love those colors! I would love to try gel but fear going down another rabbit hole, lol, plus I like changing my polish twice a week! I despise peeling nails and for me, I think it may have to do with using 100% acetone twice a week. I may try finding an acetone that is gentler on the nails; non-acetone doesn't work for me; it takes forever to remove the polish.

You can try using an additive to your acetone. I did a review on Modelones Remove Plus (It's coming up shortly) also I heard Zoya polish remover is good. Although I haven't tried it so I can't say for sure.

Love your videos, I've watched every one of them . Have you considered using peel off base so removal is kinder on your nails, it may help with the dreaded peeling middle finger.😂

Very cute mani! That blue is stunning. Do you not have to wrap the tips on gel polish or did you do that off camera? I’m glad you did this video. I’m going to save it for reference. If you have time would you tell me what brand you recommend for top & basecoat and polish? Correct me if I’m wrong, but you can use regular polish over gel basecoat & top with gel. Is that right? I’m just wanting gel nails on two that are broken to far down to do anything but a silk wrap and I’m so sick of doing that. Did you hear that MoYou London was quitting selling stamping plates? That makes me sad. Their plates are so cute. Thanks again Suzanne!

I answered your questions on the next video because they were good ones 😊 I did forget to cap my tips. 🫣 You can use gel top and base on regular polish but the regular polish base must be fully dry. For brand ls of top and base I have used Aimeili, Beetles, Madam Glam, I've used a few different brands off Amazon as well that were super cheap. Since I go through a lot of it and I use it on press-on nails I go cheaper lol 😆
