Let’s do a Ombré Water nail 🌊💦

I’ve been seeing this design EVERYWHERE and wanted to do a video on it for the longest 😮‍💨
A little tip I learned with this attempt, do apply a base coat gel over the CURED water design before attempting your acrygel ombré! I noticed the ombré changed the color of the design a tad which I think would’ve been prevented with a base coat prior to the ombré. But it’s not extremely noticeable on video.

*AN ombre not "A ombre" (referring to the title of the video) would be the correct way to say it. Just letting you know for future videos! Other than that, these flowers are so cute! Would love to try!! Thanks for sharing how to do it!!

I always try to inform people of products needed and what I used to achieve it. It’s always frustrating to see a design you want to do with no knowledge of what products were used

@@KCNailsyes! Thank you for this so much!! That's the one thing that I cannot stand. It's like some youtubers want to gatekeep and they don't want to let their followers know how they created a specific look. It really is so frustrating. I love youtubers who take the time to show a tutorial and I especially have respect for those who share the products and list every single item used in the description box. (Not sure if you provide links to products, but if you do, you are amazing for dedicating the extra time to list and link products showing that you care about your subscribers. If you don't do that yet, a good suggestion) Thanks for the video!!

@palestar828 exactly!! Like, it's not that hard to explain stuff!! It's so frustrating looking at video after video looking for an in-depth tutorial on how to do something, and every single video skips over the same information!

This might be a dumb question.. but is “Acrygel” the same thing as polygel? Lol I’m sorry if that sounds dumb 😂😂

Not a dumb question! Sometimes names of products can be really confusing lol. Acrygel is the name of the type of product Polygel is a name brand of acrygel which most people (including me) tend to call acrygel, even if it’s not the same branded one.

@@KCNails Ahhhh okay, I see!! Thank you very much for answering that too! Lol does it have the same consistency as polygel? Like is it basically the same thing, but just in a different container?
