I can tell it isn’t his actual voice but I think it sounds pretty good. I haven’t watched the series only seen clips, but it sounds pretty close to me. Love the interactions with Omni-man and Peacemaker.

If I’m being Brutally Honest…Chris did an Incredible Job Capturing Anthony Starr’s Mannerisms and Threatening Whisper he does, I can definitely Hear Homelander, is it Perfect? no, but The Guy did a Damn good Job! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

So heres ths issue with the voice acting. Anthony Starr does sometimes talk in that gravely like whisper. BUT Homelander doesnt do that ALL the time. The VA in the game does it like almost exclusively. But when he doesnt do it he sounds SUPER close. Bug hes like...always whispering. Homelander doesnt talk like that all the time. That being said he did do a good job with the direction given

The voice is fine, one of the biggest problems I have with this game is the 1:2 exchanges instead of 1:2:1 like before. I swear most of these lines sound so incomplete for almost every character. They’re doing better making it sound more genuine with dlc characters but the damage is already done

To me it sounds like somebody speaking English with a parseltongue accent. Sounds like he’s trying to open the Chamber of Secrets with every intro.

I'm not sure about the other lines, but the one where he said "Another useless, fucking blind guy" sounded exactly like the actual actor 😆 Also: there were a couple of responses that sounded to me like 'shout outs' to other 'franchises'. The one about 'Injustice' being the first (Another 'evil Superman' story), but also one where......Vampire Lady (can't recall the name).....said something about 'What we do in the shadows', which was/is a movie/TV Series about a group of vampires living together 😏

Every Intro was to see who is the better trash talker. I think his best ones were with Omni Man, Peacemaker, Kenshi, Baraka, and himself.

Have to say while it’s a True Shame Tony Starr didn’t Voiced Homelander, Cox did a Fan Freaking Tastic Job with this Diabolical Maniac, the Closest to Lucifer on Earth and Superman in Mortal Kombat, and a Super Bully that loves his Ego and Trash Talk, hell NRS made him so Accurate to the Series that I’m gonna Enjoy him being in MK1, Homie truly was worth the wait and we know that we aren’t done with Guest Characters in this Game, plus Love how NRS is treating this Mirror Crash as Homie’s Psychotic Mental Breakdown with his God Complex, for Omni-Man NRS nailed these Twisted Versions of the Man of Steel of One being Calm and Collected and the Other is Completely Insane and Demented, and as for Peacemaker Both surprisingly share a common Childhood Trauma but I would pick Christopher over John as he’s more Mentally Stable.

The voice is good, imo. I like how he lowers his voice when he gets aggressive, like Anthony Starr. It’s better than the Terminator voice from MK11 that didn’t sound like Schwarzenegger.

The voice acting isn't the problem. It's the dialogue. It's beyond fucking lame. "Well you're bright eye'd and bushy tailed" "And a skilled combatant" Seriously? That was the best they could imagine Smoke saying as a comeback? "First Omni-Man and now you? I am DONE with caped villains!" Look, I get it. New timeline new outcomes. It's just fucking hilarious hearing Mileena of all people say that when her entire history is about assassinations, betrayal, serving Shao Khan etc. It just feels ironic hearing her of all people bitching about bad people doing bad things. "You have no honor, no soul." "Oh yadda yadda yadda" Gotta side with Homelander on that one. The dialogue as a while is a bunch of yadda yadda. Nobody is really saying anything that actually matters or adds any sort of intrigue into the lore of the world. Either Sektor is quoting "we are many you are one" for the 9 trillionth fuckin' time or characters giving stiff 3rd grade come backs at insults Homelander slings at them. The only character with his original personality and actual bite in his dialogue is Omni-Man ironically. Everyone else just doesn't hit with their "scathing comebacks". Like I said before, the voice acting isn't the problem. The VA for Homelander is fine. He sounds as accurate as he needs to be. The people handling the dialogue either needs to be in an actual argument to understand some real good insults or just be fired and hire people that can actually write their way out of a fishbowl.
