The 9 steps Tom is talking about, is straight out of the 1940s Communist manifest. Even in the call of duty trailer for cold war they play the audio of a Russian strategist speaking those very things.

For the record situational design is not something Tom created for this song. It is a well-documented communist theorem of how to take over a Democratic government, published in a book during the cold war by a communist defector. It has been used successfully by communist governments. Historical fact. Tom quotes the theory almost verbatim in the song.

The steps were exactly what Yuri Brezmonev a soviet defector who was kgb outlined on how to infiltrate and destroy a country and later we found out he was correct when the Soviet union collapsed and the archives were opened.
