The scape is beautiful and masterfully executed! I would still add some bigger plants in the middle so your Andrao's have a place to hide though. This species is native to waters that are dense with vegetation and this is essential for them to thrive and grow old! The behaviour that you've recorded looks more like territorial behaviour to me, since I've also noticed that your Channa's seem to have a few nipped spots on their dorsal fins and flanks. This is most likely due to the fact that your tank is not planted enough. Andrao's will also most likely not form a couple if you put two or three individuals together, they form couples within a bigger group. Not trying to be hard on you or being negative. Just like you, I really appreciate this species and feel like they need to be catered more to their needs. Your intentions are surely good ones, don't get me wrong. There is a lot of attention to detail with your scape. But still, Channa Andrao have specific needs and to see them grow old and stay healthy, I would really advise you to take this advise to heart and research your species further. The water temperature for example needs to fluctuate around twice a year. Bringing the temperature from 22/28 Celsius to 16/19 Celsius, simulating an rainy period. This is essential to keep them healthy. Keeping them on a constant temperature will lead to bacterial infections and eventually death. Not saying u are keeping them on a constant temperature though, I just thought to share this information with you to keep your fish happy and healthy!

I wouldve said it was more of a courtship ritual. I had a friend who had some weird fish and they did somthing similar even when they were all male 🤷 but they were just happy enough that they did that stuff. I'm not a pro tho.

@@rickyfinn2763 The courtship ritual is different. I've kept this species as a couple and territorial behaviour looks similar but the snapping with the mouth is typical for being territorial as far as I know with this species. Males will not court each other but can establish hierarchy for mating etc. (depending on the species ofc.)

흠 주인장님 센스가 대단하신듯 합니다. 늘 좋은 영상이지만 오늘따라 편집스타일이 눈에 띄었고 특히 영상이 질이 너무 좋습니다! 다큐라고해도 손색이 없을 정도에요~!!! 어쩜이리 답답한 부분 하나 없고 정교하고 깨끗하게 잡으시는지.. 좋은 카메라 덕분일까요??? 범상치 않으십니다 특히 자막기능을 켜고 보니 더 좋아요. 함께 깔리는 클래식도 너무 좋아요

저희집 가물치가 저번주쯤부터 가끔 바닥에 몸을 비비면서 튕기듯이 헤엄치는데 이거 괜찮은건가요..? 유어때부터 2년정도 키우는 중인데 이런경우는 처음이라 왜이러는지 모르겠어요ㅜㅜ

회색벌레님 안녕하세요!! 원래 해수어만 기르다 회색벌레님의 지하동굴어항 영상을 보고 꽂혀버려 이번에 처음으로 담수를 하게되었습니다! 저도 부족한 실력으로 회색벌레님 작품을 따라 만들어봤는데 궁금한점이 있어 질문을 드리고자 댓글드립니다! 히터를 동굴상단 어항 뒤쪽에 두었더니 지하와 지상온도차이가 5도 이상 나더라구요... 혹시 이 문제는 어떻게 해결하셨나요!!? 순환이 잘 안되는거 같은데 고기가 잘 살 수 있을까요?

Why not add terrestrial plants in the filter to get water quality up? Probably more successful than trying to grow high light plants in a literal hole..

Maybe you should place the pleco in a separate tank or tub for feeding so the snakeheads won't disturb its food

If I can add suggestions, it was better feed snakehead with your hand, so they become More familiar with your hand and didn't scared by your hand, it take time but it was worth it when you can pet your snakehead by your fingers

So it can bite his finger off? Snakeheads are very territorial and will eat anything. They're illegal where i live because they kill everything on sight.

@@Kensoy83 but in my country is not banned, also I have snakehead and he was 14cm and keep feeding it with my hand and my fingers still intact, and my snakehead didn't shy around people. Also the snakehead he have only 7-8 cm so I doubt he will lose fingers. Expect if he use starving method to make snakehead more active, that will make snakehead become more active and aggressive, even if they see bug in up his tank he will jump out of the tank.
