Boros are officially identified as "Boro, Borokachari" scheduled tribe under the Constitution of India. Bodo, is the largest ethnolinguistic group in the Assam state.The Boro people are recognised as a plains tribe in the Sixth Schedule of the Indian Constitution, and have special powers in the Bodoland Territorial Region, an autonomous division.

I have visited many villages of Barpeta Tangla Udalguri Nagrijuli. Bodo people are maintain the hygene. They do hard labour. Thanks for exploring Bodo culture.

An interesting and relevant vlog on the life and culture of bodo tribe of north - east India.. Have heard and read about them but it is a nice enlightening video covering all basic issues.. Contrary to general assumption, the people seem docile,simple and god fearing.. Their religion and worship is quite akin to the belief and practice of hindu mythology..These people are part of Indian society and should not be discriminated on any basis.. As usual, it is a fine vlog as expected from you..

No idea why still we use write our territory as Bodoland? Since we use to write it in Devonagiri as बर'लेडं it should've been written as Boroland instead! But if Bodoland is correct then it should've been adopted as बड़ोलेडं I meant ड़ instead of ड I just wanna know which one is correct Boroland or Bodoland? As we don't pronounce र+ड=ड़ sound likewise other cast peoples pronouns. We simply pronounce it as Boro instead of Bodo. So there's no cocktail sound of our pronunciation likewise other cast of peoples pronounce it as र+ड=ड़ So its time for us to justify our self which one is appropriate for us! Jai Boro Haarini!
