I made cheap coffee and instead used your $5 to buy some Mod Podge Dimensional Magic! That's actually super funny because it was exactly $5 and I had to justify the purchase to myself in the store. My first thought was this is perfect for Chinese New Year 2/10/24. I love the design and colors. Right now I’m still pushing myself to practice swooshes with dotting tools. This video will be saved for when I’m ready for brushes. Thanks for stretching yourself and in return all of us. ❤️💜💙💚🩵🧡

Swooshes are good to practice with any tool you feel comfortable with! The thing is everybody paints differently so what works for you is the right way. I’m glad you’re practicing 😊✨❤️

This is right on time! I’m so happy we coincided on this brush thing. Those brushes were in my cart and on their way in a flash! You really took away the intimidation factor - some videos I’ve watched made this skill seem out of reach, but not now. I ain’t scurred!😂

OMG--this was ingenious!! I've tried to do "swooshes" with brushes and found them quite intimidating and never wanted to try again. BUT, you've now given me hope--because I hadn't thought of starting out with just "straight" lines until my comfort level increases. You provide so much inspiration and hope--so, THANK YOU for that. Btw, that design is gorgeous and, as always, your color combo ROCKS!

Seems like brushwork on mandalas is the trend these days. My goal for 2024 is to, as you say "stretch" myself into getting more comfortable with brushes. My main problem so far is paint consistency. Thank you for this video...I AM inspired now to do a whole piece in brush and not just the Lotus shapes. I'm not skeered 😅

I think the best acrylic paints for brushes are thin and fluid. DecoArt Americana seems to work really well. Have fun!
