In this English lesson you'll learn the words and phrases we use to talk about parts of the cars, machines, and equipment around us. This will be a technical lesson, but all of the English vocabulary words your will learn are very common. If you ever need to fix something, get your car repaired, or buy a replacement part for something you own this lesson will come in handy.
In this free English class you'll learn words like: socket, sprocket, gear, pulley, belt, chain, shaft, rod, bar, washer, lock washer, wing nut, knob, terminal, screen, filter, spring, arm, harness, magnet, shield, toggle switch, caliper, and more!
You'll learn about truck and car parts, automotive parts, machine parts, tractor parts, equipment parts, lawnmower parts and more!
I hope you enjoy this English lesson about parts!
⌛ Remember: Always watch the video three times. Twice today with English subtitles on, and once tomorrow with the English subtitles off. This will reinforce the English you have learned!

Hi Mr. Bob !!! This is Jey from Tennessee. English is my second language. I tried many KZfaq lessons to learn English but nothing worked out so well . I am truly lucky to find your channel. Your method of teaching is wonderful , and helps me to learn useful phrasal verbs , vocabularies and commonly used idioms which is greatly applicable in day to day life conversations . It pretty much covers every details on a topic . Nice work. Thank you so much . Truly appreciate you .

Dear Mr. Bob, thank you for so important technical lesson. You are really important for us, especially here in Canada :) Please, make the similar lesson about electrical stuff in details with common and official words (because sometimes some parts have official names but professionals use synonyms).

Once we bought some car fuses from an Auchan (it's like Wallmart in the states) and it didn't burn out and the wires in the car started to smoke so we stopped the can and removed the battery from it to save the car. It's very annoying when a thing doesn't do its job. When you get a phone and you can't call anybody with it because it doesn't work properly.
